Hawthorne Home

The road leading to the house is very bumpy, but don’t let that fool you. The house is very nice. As soon as we walked in, I felt completely at home. Much better than a hotel/motel. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful. There is a Dollar General close by, in case you need any supplies. We went to the Hawthorne Cafe for breakfast. Very nice people and good food. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this location. I highly recommend it.

Morris Lake House

Our host was not responsive to Vrbo Inbox questions, never contacted us until the day we were to check in. When we arrived, two buzzards were picking at trash scattered on property lawn. We contacted host about trash, each time he assured us it would be taken care of. Trash was still scattered when we left 5 days later. Exterior of siding was covered with mold. When I attempted to use the Vrbo app, I was presented with, "Sorry, something went wrong on our end" at least a dozen times. We would never stay at the Morris Lake House again, and doubt we will ever use Vrbo again.

Great stay for graduation

This was the perfect house for my family to stay at while I graduated from UF. Just 30 min out of town it was so nice to have everyone stay in a comfortable house instead of a hotel. We loved the openness of the house and the bon fire pit outside. 10/10 recommend.
