The house is large and decently furnished. Beds are not so comfortable and wish It had a king but we knew it only had a queen. Fridge was broken at check in. Host did replace and was very gracious. On day one we had to drive to duck (1.5 hours away) to purchase a freezer as a standalone. House info did mention that we needed to "wait 24 hours" for the fridge to be in full swing, which is very strange. Fridge had rust in, it was leaking, and had a very foul smell. It was broken at check in. It took three days for new one to arrive so we rotated with coolers and our stand alone. Stressful. The home did not feel clean at check it. The floors felt dusty and the dinning room table was sticky. It really felt like the maids just vacuumed and lightly dusted but the floors did not feel washed. The trash kitchen cabinet had stains on the inside of it and crumbs on the bottom of the cabinet. I get that it's the trash cabinet, but you can clearly see that it had been cleaned for a while. The oven could use a deep clean. The main kitchen faucet also sprays everywhere. On the flip side everything works, and the host was as gracious as he could be. The location is also very good. The elevator is very convenient, the house is also well built. If a deep clean happens it's worth the price. I would give the host a 5 star, but the property a 2 star for the cleanliness and inconvenience of the fridge.

Had an awesome week long stay in Hatteras. This house was in a great location. Very easy walk to the beach and short golf cart ride to restaurants. House was clean and had all the necessities. Will be back!!

Hatteras Escape Vacation

The house was nice, clean, and accommodating. The beds in the 2 master suites were a little small and not as comfortable as we had hoped. The beach access was very close, but it was a tremendously task to get up and down the dunes to actually get the the beach. Overall was a decent place. But a little bit too much of a drive after entering the outerbanks area.

Great Location

House was clean and is at a great location. It is very near to the beach. The kitchen was amazing and very well equipped. Plenty of space in the living area. Excellent for families. The only negative thing is the deck. The deck is old and my daughter had a painful splinter. Hope this gets fixed. Rest all is amazing!!

Wonderful New Years Stay

We had wonderful stay over the New Years holiday. The house was clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Everything was as advertised. There is a home being built next door that blocks some of the view but you can still see the ocean and sound from the various balconies. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Exactly what we wanted!

We had a lovely visit to Hatteras for our family reunion. Mostly thanks to the comfort in Eric‘s house. Everything is top notch and nicely decorated. Loved the color combination of pistachio green and burnt orange – very fresh! The elevator was very helpful in moving in and moving out. The kitchen was nicely laid out, especially with the two sinks. Highly recommend this property!

Really enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was easy, we got there a little early before check in and the cleaning people let us in while they finished up downstairs. The house was very clean when we arrived. Liked that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Loved having the use of the elevator. Quick and easy walk to the beach every day. And having an ice cream shop just across the street was a plus.

This was a last minute trip and I was excited to find this home in the village! It accommodated my family and was a perfect location. The owner was thoughtful and had wonderful communication.
