It was a pretty treacherous four mile hike due to the pouring rain and I wasn't able to make it all the way to the falls because of high water but this view wasn't bad either. A muddy hike but well worth it!

"We loved our stay at the river house. We didn’t want to leave. Mark was great! He answered all my questions and even had our kayak rentals waiting for us when we arrived. I love this location! Close to all of my favorite beaches and the best sunrise’s and snorkeling on Kauai. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty. Everyday was a beach day!"

"Everything about the stay was incredible, from before check-in to after check-out. Mark, the host, shared a wealth of knowledge and was quick to respond to any questions. While we did not use the service, he offered tons of help and coordination around activities/things to do and shared a list of recommendations from restaurants to activities to history. The house was even more spectacular in person than the pictures and waking up to the serenity of the house really put a cherry on top of the cake. Would highly recommend staying here! "

"We have been coming to Kauai for over 25 years and this was by far the best accommodations. The house was clean, updated and had everything you could need. We stayed for two weeks, and didn’t want to leave. The owner is so accommodating and responsive. She is the best we’ve ever dealt with.
