Cottage on a Private Island in the York River
This place was so quiet and beautiful! The house was clean and well furnished. We loved the privacy of the island and it was just what we needed for rest and relaxation.

The house was VERY clean. The sunrises over the waterway are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed sitting on the porch while reading my Bible and watching the birds scurry around. If you need to unplug, this is a great place to do just that.

The hot tub was great! Enjoyed watching the sun set in the hot tub. Very comfortable place! Lots of places to sit and relax! Host was very easy to reach with questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Riverfront House with Private Sandy Beach. Close to Colonial Williamsburg.
The home was quiet and nice. Unfortunately, the kitchen Oven did not work or even turn on. It would have been nice if there were dishwasher tabs to run the dishwasher.

Quality Inn
The outside could be worked on a bit,but over all it was a comfortable stay,the bed was really comfortable and clean and whoever the housekeeper is who decorates the towels should get a raise that’s what sealed the deal for me it actually put a smile on my face when I saw it.

One of just a small number of accommodation options within walking distance to the sights of central Gwynn, is the Gwynn's Island RV Resort and Campground.
The Kilmarnock Inn is around 16 miles (25 kilometers) outside downtown Gwynn. Another hotel is the Hampton Inn Gloucester, which is 15 miles (24 kilometers) away. More accommodation options in the area are the Kilmarnock Hotel & Suites and the Comfort Inn Gloucester.
If you have the time, why not broaden your horizons and enjoy the myriad attractions around Coastal Virginia during your stay in this area? Admire Coastal Virginia's beaches and coastal plains.
