There’s no pool which was a big turn off. The room was clean but the beds were very small. The breakfast is a joke!! It was waffles with horrible syrup, even the kids didn’t want it. There was spongy stale bread and stale muffins. The coffee tasted worse than camping coffee, the juice was diabetes in a cup and the water had lemons sitting for God knows how long and had a rotten taste. The location is convenient but I don’t think I’ll stay again!

Rooms were older looking, carpet had stains everywhere, not to mention Roaches rooming with you.

My family and I arrived well after check in time. Check in was quick although the young lady at the desk was not very friendly and whatever she was watching on TV was extremely loud. We went up to the room, and before we could exit the elevator, we we greeted by the strong scent of marijuana. I understood this hotel to be smoke free. I had my infant daughter with me. We opened the door to the room and it had not been cleaned. Beds were still unmade, bathroom still a mess, trash still in the room, towels everywhere. I went back to the desk while my boyfriend called to let the young lady know I was coming. She changed our room and the keys. I went back up, and the key would not open the door. So, with my baby, I got back on the elevator and went back downstairs. I informed the young lady that the door wouldn't open. She, with a not so pleasant demeanor, grabbed a battery pack of some sort and some keys and took the stairs to the second floor. She hooked that battery pack up to the lock and used her key to open the door. Before we could make sure our keys worked, she was gone. I went into the bathroom to shower, and there were no bath towels in there. After a 3.5 hour drive, I just wanted to relax and enjoy my time. There was also what I believe to be mold on some of the bed linen. We didn't stay for breakfast because we were just ready to go after all that went on the day and evening before.

Overbooked turned away at midnight!

When my husband and I arrived at 11:45pm ish we were told the hotel was full and they were turning away other guests as well. I asked why no one called to notify us and the excuse was" I just came on duty. Sorry. " No effort to help or offer to put us elsewhere. Ridiculous! Not sure if I will use this service again if I cannot travel expecting a clean room no matter what time we arrive.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed

Myself and many other customers complaining that there was no ice period front desk person called the owner he told her to hit the reset button still no ice. The owner is known about this for a long time and won't get it fixed. I actually had to go to Walmart and get my own ice. No butter on the breakfast bar. No apple juice. Overheard many customers complaining about their rooms and how this is the worst hotel they've ever stayed at. They are very short on staff there high turnover because the owner does not take care of his employees period front desk staff has the duty of three people including the front desk doing laundry and doing the breakfast and cleaning up. The owner is very lucky to have the two girls at the front desk they really have a good work ethic and they do care and try to help The Travelers who stay there. I left my number for the owner to contact me which that never happened period I would never recommend or stay at this particular Days Inn again.

Disappointing

After booking my hotel with Travelocity (a single king size bed) I arrived and attempted to check in. There were no single king bedrooms available and there was an error with the reservation. I was billed by Travelocity, then nearly billed (a higher amount), again by the hotel because the Travelocity billing method was rejected... I happened to question the charge prompting the front desk attendant to call about the error. She as was helpful as possible during this process. After a 30 minute phone call they confirmed the amount they had quoted was incorrect and paid the hotel less than I was billed which caused the error, (supposedly this was to my benefit but I did not receive any refund or discount). After I finally received my room key (nearly an hour after my arrival) I walked into a dirty room... beds unmade, used coffee cups, wrappers, tv on, used towels and toiletries in the bathroom and the room door was propped open. After driving nearly 9 hours straight and waiting an hour for my room, I gave up and accepted the reality of my disappointing stay with Days Inn of Greensboro.

Very clean and comfortable!

Although the room didn't have a microwave (as outlined in the description -but I have no complaints about that), there was a refrigerator. The room was exceptionally clean and wonderfully comfortable after a long drive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very nice room at a great value. The room was decorated nicely, seemed to have been updated recently and was just really comfortable all around.

Thin Walls

Pros: Staff
Cons: Noise reducing insulation!
Location: Great location! All sorts of places to eat and shop close by!!
We had come into town for a swim meet and stayed for two nights. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but the walls are very thin!! The first night we had a few young adults staying in a room that was diagonally from our door. They were extremely loud in their room and the hall until I had to call the front desk. The staff responded quickly. That same night at about 3:30 am the room next to us had a child that had to have had a bad dream; how do I know? Well, the child screamed loud enough that it woke me out of a dead sleep!! The walls are very, VERY thin!! The second night, the same family from the first night, came in at 10pm with screaming kids and adults!! I thought, okay tired kids, time for bed. The squealing and loud conversations continued until 11:30. Somebody in their party knocked on my door at around midnight!!! I am sure by mistake. I had hoped they would sleep in considering they all went to bed so late; No such luck! Up at 7:15 and the squealing child and adults speaking very loudly started all over again!! Walls are very thin!!! I did speak to the manager in the morning, he was very apologetic and offered me a free nights stay. I realize the possibility for super noisy, rude and inconsiderate people are part of the deal. If you decide to stay here, ask for an upstairs, at the end of the hall room.

Nice economical stay

Room was new and neat with modern fixtures. Housekeeping was a little lacking in our room but not seriously. It was a comfortable stay. I will say that the walls seemed to allow more noise from room to room than other hotels. We travel this area monthly and may stay here again. However, if we find another hotel in the area (and there are many) with a larger selection of breakfast items within $10 of this Days Inn we will choose the other hotel.

clean and friendly

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: no exercise room
This hotel was easy to locate and plenty of other businesses nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful,the room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was ok, I've seen better offerings but it was clean and well stocked with the usuals (O.J., milk, coffee, bananas, dry cereals, toast and pastries). I only wished they had a fitness room or indoor pool; for exercise, I ran outside since this is a safe neighborhood. I would stay here again.
