When being forced (i.e. harassed) to get a Hyatt place "membership" in order to not pay for breakfast when the front desk tells you the night before it's free. You can guess who is never going to stay there again.

Nice hotel close to convention center and shopping

Great stay. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Great continental breakfast to start each day. We will be back to Fort Lauderdale next year and plan to stay at Hyatt place again. Only downside was the bathroom. Like to soak in tub on vacation but no tubs and the bath was cramped and hard to maneuver between the toilet and door. Oh well. Loved everything else.

Average hotel with 5 stars prices

Pros: spacious rooms
Cons: breakfast area
Arrived 2 hours earlier and was charged for early check-in $30, they'll nickel and dime you on everything. Inattentive front desk, old hotel with small area for breakfast
