Horrible experience

My check in was horrible. The hotel cancelled my reservation for none payment. My reservation confirmation was “Pay at property”. I was told that Hotels.com cancelled the reservation because the payment didn’t go through. Which made no sense because my reservation was pay at property. We were attending an event, had driven in tow and half hours with no hotel room. The hotel said they were sold out. We were changing our clothes in the bathroom off the lobby. The hotel d front agent came into the bathroom and I have a room if you still want it. She said, “ a room just came open”. “The night auditor cancelled your reservation early in the AM for nine payment, but failed to read “Pay at property” on the reservation. I am sorry this is our fault. Although we ended up with a room that was very upsetting and heartbreaking. I had made that reservation in Dec28, 2025. I never received anything from hotels.com stating my reservation had been cancelled. This was a horrible experience!

Great room!

We stopped for one night as we were in the middle of a long drive from NJ to FL. The hotel was very nice, and the room was fabulous. Very spacious, clean, and recently updated. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay off of I-95!

Great stop not too far off of I-95! Staff was super friendly, especially our check-in receptionist and the bartender that evening! Food and drinks were great! Shower was wonderful and beds were comfy. Very dog friendly which was great for the pups! Downtown Florence was cute and there are plenty of other restaurants and shops within walking distance. I read complaints about the proximity of the train tracks and noise, but we did not notice it at all during our stay.

Customer service isn't their specialty unfortunately. We stayed at the Tapestry down the street a week ago and the difference in service was shocking. Hotel was good. Clean and a nice room. But if you are into being treated well I would stay elsewhere.

My check-in was slow. The from desk person made several mistakes and was neither helpful nor professional. She was not dressed in business attire which made the hotel seem amateurish. My one-night stay was a Sunday, March 2. Every dining place downtown was closed including the facilities at the hotel. Boring but safe and clean. The fitness room was great but the parking area is a bit away from the building.
