I wanted this to work out so badly. It’s our girl’s’ favorite place to go and we surprised them this Christmas by making it happen. Our entire stay was frustrating to put it mildly. Upon our arrival our room had pots and pans that had food crusted on them, the bathroom had a dirty towel in it, there was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen, the washer and dryer weren’t opporational, and unbeknownst to us the pool and hot tub weren’t working.
I hoped to be able to contact the owners to work this out, outside of a review (as the problems would have been really easy to fix) , unfortunately I was only able to get as far as their “manager” Shauna. I reached out to Shauna about the minor issues and she let me have it, telling me “ Well we can't control the guests who wash and put away dishes. I can have someone wash them for you if you'd like “ and in regards to the overall cleanliness of the room her response was “ Of course the room was cleaned and beds made for your stay. It's an extremely busy time of the year in extreme weather and we are all doing our best. Thank you for your grace. Let me know what I can do for you. ”
I wasnt looking for anything other then to have my family in a clean room and for us to be able to use the amenities. I wouldn’t have spent as much money as we did to stay there had I known what I was going to be getting into.
Unfortunately because this is a private unit within the lodge- Suncadia itself will not help with any concerns nor will they allow you to use the pool at the health and fitness center, should the pool at the resort be out of order. The entire trip was a bust. I don’t know who other owners have manage their properties but I would stay far away from this one. We also tried contacting Revolve who manages this property as well and never got a response. I wish I had read into the other reviews that had mentions cleaning issues etc.
