Grandview Lake Placid
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The renovated rooms are nice and clean. The common areas are still dated, but didn't mind it as it kind of had a nostalgia vibe to it. We had a lake view room- which I highly recommend getting this type of room. The only thing I thought was strange was the staff was very one note....no smiles, quiet and never even made eye contact with you if is the same hallway. At the breakfast buffet, we were not even greeted, was just stared at until I provided our room number. However, there were a few exceptions like our first night our waiter was excellent and so was the gentlemen that checked us in."
