Book a hotel near Doe Run Lake Park, Independence

"I questioned the size of the bed, as it did not appear to be a king sized bed. I even brought the manager to the room, and his attitude was was terrible. He talked down to me, telling me that I didn’t know what I was talking about, it was an industrial sized king, and I was the only one who had ever said anything. He even stated “I’m not going to stand here and argue with you. I can give you guys a refund!” I stand on what I said that the bed was NOT a king sized bed.. unless the standards for bed sizes change for home versus the hotel. Other than his terrible attitude, the stay was great. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good, and all the other staff was friendly. "

You won’t go away hungry, breakfast biscuits & gravy, waffles, pancakes, cereals, coffee, soda and juices, freshly made eggs and sausage and more. Dinner (5:30-7) changes daily (FREE) and a restaurant if late food needed. The staff (everyone) was so kind and friendly. "
