"The rims were not that clean. The air conditioner did not work couple days. We had no water and no electricity. Definitely not what we expected. Pictures made it look way better. The food was only fair. Definitely not worth rating.. when you go on vacation, you expect to have rest and relaxation. We were hot in the room at night and when the electric and water doesn't work, that's not good.. also didn't feel it should be necessary to wait forever to get a drink at the bar due to short staff. Will never be back"

"I can't say enough about the service and staff. The entire butler staff was so accommodating especially when we dealt with Michael. All our excursions and transportation was handled by the butler staff. This was our second time at Hodges Bay Resort and it was even better than our first time. The food menu was more varied since the last time and we tried many of the items from each menu. Since we had a suite, we loved to order room dining and take our time and relax. My wife was thrilled with the spa which we didn't do last time. I loved that the staff restocked our fridge with water everyday. Great benefit and we gladly accepted not having to get our own bottled water. We went out to Prickly Pear island twice for snorkeling and swimming. It did rain briefly during the middle of the week and luckily it happened between our activities. We would definitely come back again."
