Original Sokos Hotel Valjus
"Room was fine and reasonably large. Bed was comfortable. Didnt hear any noise from surrounding rooms. The room was fairly hot, but there was no air conditioning and the windows were bolted shut, which felt a bit prison-like. Luckily the helpful staff member gave me the key to open the window, which was a relief. The shower cubicle was a bit small. I kept banging into things (including the very hot hot water pipe at one point). They could have fit a bigger cubicle in there, so not sure why they went for a small one with rounded doors. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. They booked taxis for me no problem and as above helped with my window problem. Location was fine. Walking distance to the castle (though that was always crawling with youths, so I didnt get chance to have a proper look) and the little museum."
