I have lived in Colorado since 1992 and have been using the Westin for the the past 5 years before departing from Denver or upon return. Flights usually leave early in the day and arrive later in the day. The Westin despite the higher cost than those on Tower Rd has been worth the money until last night. After check-in, just after midnight-my flight was delayed a couple hours from Miami- I waited at the East elevators for 5 minutes with my kids before realizing no elevator was coming. Another guest had already gone back to the check-in counter to get a Westin representative. This employee said the elevator wasn't working but did not address me or offer advice. I tried the West Tower elevator hoping to walk back to the East side from the floor my room was on. No luck. I returned to the check-in counter again and asked for a room I could get to! She offers no apologies or explanations. I get a new room assignment and key card and return to the West Tower elevator and up to the new room. Now I discover there is only 1 bed instead of two like I had reserved. After returning to the check-in counter quite upset I again receive no apologies or understanding just a new room assignment and key card. After I complain that the service factor is severely lacking in this case I am offer free food coupon! Whatever. I get to the 12th floor and as the door of the elevator opens I am overwhelmed by the smell of marijuana and there is broken glass on the floor in the hallway. Never again!

outstanding

Pros: proximity to security check
love the convenience of hotel to security check for ealy am flights. Restuarant food was excellent. Pool was very relaxing. Great views.

Location and comfort were incredible. Makes the whole airport experience so much less of a hassle with a late or early flight. Amenities like fridge, robe, toiletries, and pen/paper mean you can jump in without a bunch of searching around.

Great location

Pros: Everything.... wonderful stay.
Location: We stayed to be close for an early morning flight and to relax before we left for home.
Hotel staff very friendly. Clean everywhere. Bed very comfortable. Large room and bathroom. Great shades to darken room and still see outside.

Visit was great!

The room and service was great. The only downside was there was no remote control in the room and the alarm clock radio was stuck to on... so I had to turn the volume off.

if you are stuck at the Denver airport

Cons: get rid of the internet charge.
Location: the airport.
as I assume happens to many, our flight screwed up and we needed to stay overnight at the Denver airport. the WESTIN was a good choice. it's a large, relatively sterile hotel but the room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the restaurant was better than we anticipated. I cannot stand paying several hundred for a room and then getting charged for internet. hotels need to stop with the hidden charges.
