At the top of the list -the physical infrastructure is dated and breaking down and the rooms as well as the building overall, is outdated; common amenities, e.g. in room coffee machines and hot/cold beverages, cutlery, plates and cups for the kitchenette, functional remotes and clocks were non-existent; on site dining is limited, breakfast options only.

The second day we were there they painted the deck around the pool and had the pool closed till 1pm. It was suppose to open at 9am. The next day they were cleaning the pool and it didn’t open till after 10am. I was at this hotel last year around the same time and they were working on the roof and patios and they are still doing this.

The property was having some renovations done due to hurricane damage and we had no issue with that, there was a slight musty mildewy smell when we opened the dresser so we just didn't use it. The view was amazing and made those minor things really no problem. The one thing I did not like is that it was $23 a night for parking on top of the room. But outside of that it was a great time

Great location. There were some renovations going on. I thought the additional charge for parking in a handicap space was unusual. I had a handicap license plate. We had to ask for a coffee pot. They no longer supply one for each room. They do have coffee in the lobby.

Our check in was stressful cause they had us spray checked in at 8 am for the first day and the front desk staff had no idea. He said we didn’t have a room. He was able to find the reservation papers after my husband almost blew up on him. We had five people in our party but was only given four towels and TWO wash rags. The house keeping staff was polite and very helpful! The lay out of the room was great but the beds were small and hard. Great access to the beach though.

Well, let’s start with the surprise of parking at which they automatically put on your charge card and if you buy the insurance for your stay, it’s a scam because I bought it and then they said oh by the way you can’t cancel at the best Western so I wasted money on the cancellation insurance then I get to the room and it smells like mold and mildew the carpet soaked, but they did change our room and then the new room. The sink was clogged so out of the pool the screws were coming out of the deck and if you did not walk gingerly, you’re going to the hospital for stitches the pool bottom is all coming off the concrete all in the bottom of the pool And it’s very old.
