This hotel was good for its price.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
The most vexing problem with this hotel was that they don't provide you with a FREE INTERNET at room. Since I travelled for a business meeting it was apain in the neck. Also breakfast is not included. The most attracting part is the closeness of shops and restaurants. On the day of my departure I asked the staff to wake me up at 5 am, but they mistakenly waked me at 4am! OUR room didn't have a minifridge. some staff were polite and caring, while some of them didn't bother themselves to say hello.

Great place to stay

I stayed in this place when it was the Westin City Center. The location is awesome, easy to get to. If you are just staying overnight there is plenty of free parking on the streets. Close to all the museums and just a few blocks walk you can catch the light rail to Deep Elum.

CRT, low definition, small TV

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet, small tv
In an upscale hotel, I expect a high definition TV. This hotel only has small, CRT, low definition TV's even though they market HD programing. Great room and great hotel other than that, but that is enough for me not to go back.

Went for King Tut

This hotel is perfect if you want to go to the Dallas Museum of Art! It's only a few blocks away & easy to walk to. The concierge (all of them) were very helpful in getting us to where we needed to go. The room was beautiful, clean & comfortable. It was quiet at night even with a large business conference going on. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Westin Dallas City Center

A very nice hotel with luxurious appointments. Because it is located adjacent to an indoor mall with inexpensive restaurants, it was an affordable place to stay inspite of a very pricey restaurant on the premises. They charge for wireless access which is often free in most less expensive hotels.

Never Stay in this Hotel

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night on 28-29 November 2008. We never slept all night long. There was a lot of noise from other rooms. It was 3:30 AM in the morning there were still laughing, screaming, talking noise. We called front desk to warn those noisy people (I think they were around 100 or more people) but couldn't get any result. Next morning as we were checking out I complaint about our terrible night to the manager on duty. She listened to me without any apology and said ""Thank you"". The manager was the most clueless hotel employee I have ever seen.

Loved the Ice Skating

We stayed at the Westin to be near a famioly member undergoing a medical procedure at Bayor Medical Center. The proximity to the hospital was great and the ice skaiting was a plus for our family. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and we truly enojyed our stay.
