The biggest highlight is definitely the view — it’s stunning. The appliances are also newer, which is a plus. However, potential guests should know that this is a duplex, and you are staying in the upper unit. It’s located on a side street with a unique atmosphere, and we did notice quite a few homeless individuals walking by during our stay.Inside the home, there were several things that could use attention. The cookware, for instance, is extremely worn — the Teflon pans are damaged and really should be replaced. The 180 cleaning fee felt excessive, especially considering guests are asked to start a load of towels and strip the beds before leaving. We are tidy guests and struggled to see what the fee actually covered beyond trash removal, which we took out our selves.Other maintenance issues included: broken blinds, stained comforters, a broken lamp switch in the king bedroom, and a toaster that doesn’t function. With better attention to detail and more hands-on management, this could be a truly great property. The potential is definitely there — it just needs some care.
