Sub-par rental
In all of our experiences over many years with VRBO, this was by far the most disappointing and concerning. I now know why we don’t rent houses without any referrals. Lesson learned. The management company didn’t respond to our many requests. As an example, they never provided a code for the door. They were unresponsive for 8 hours (from check in until morning — through both messaging and phone calls). The wifi and TV didn’t work. There were dirty linens left in the washing machine and garbage was left in the refrigerator. There was a profound chemical smell and/or gas leak smell in the primary bedroom and bathroom. We would encourage VRBO to investigate this listing to ensure it meets adequate standards. We had to use our own mobile hot spot (at our own expense) as wifi because the management company never responded to our requests for help. Clearly no one is caring for the property as garbage cans and mail were unattended. Folks should know that the neighborhood immediately around the house is up and coming. The images for this listing should better reflect the house and surrounding neighborhood conditions.
