Below the expected standards of clean

First impression was decent and hotel qas as expected ... communication was a little off initially about how to get to rooms from parking deck (hub@columbia is dorms/apts) Okay, got over that hurdle (small inconvenience) no big deal HOWEVER, What was a big deal, was coming into our room after a long drive and having to use bathroom, go in to find someones DNA still on the porcelain thrown .. GROSS GROSS GROSS ... They came in and cleaned it but was forever on edge that whole night ... and rightfully so, i found hair barretts in the corners of the room .. stauns on the table hair on the sheets (long, straight and blonde) mine is short, curly and black. That means the room WAS NOT CLEANED properly. I expected more from Marriott, I chose them instead of a boutique hotel because i thought the name would have accountability. I sadly mistaken. Convenience to the colonial life arena was nice but too many other choices to justify it, if its not going to hold to a high level of standard for cleanliness.

My stay was amazing. The staff was very friendly & respectful. I was allowed to check in early & check out late. Valet was very helpful and nice. I will stay at this location again in the future.

It's a Marriott so the bedding and shower were excellent. However, the hotel advertised an indoor pool that was not operational. That was false advertising. Also, the choice for parking was either $19/night for self park in the parking garage next to the hotel or $50 for valet parking. The staff were friendly, there was daily maid service and the accommodations otherwise were fine.

Checked in at the lobby was given a key to a dirty room that had been used. The front desk did apologize about the inconvenience. Gave me a new room, and the sink was clogged, tub wasn’t properly cleaned. The rear of the establishment seemed to be pretty clean and neat from what I could visibly see.

Concert stay

Beautiful facility. Great location. The bar was great service was wonderful the choices late night after 10:00 p.m. work perfect. We enjoyed our breakfast the next day we did till adult breakfast prices are a little pricey but the service and food were great. Modest holiday decorations that were beautiful. We will definitely stay again.
