Great Location, Needs Update

The location of this rental is phenomenal for anyone visiting the northeast GA area. Walking distance from restaurants and shopping in downtown Clayton. Also, a short drive to many great outdoor activities and sights to see. The rental is spacious and has a good layout. Where the quality of the stay lacked was the old and worn out furniture and beds. The couch is well beyond its lifespan and has hardly any cushion/support left. The “mattress” for the pullout bed is basically nonexistent and the whole piece needs to be thrown out. The beds are very uncomfortable and also very worn out. They need to be retired as well. If you have back problems be very wary of sleeping here. With a few easy updates from the owner, this place could be amazing. I would not be able to stay here again in its current condition but with new beds, I’ll be back for sure.

This property was spacious and quite attractive and the location was excellent. We were able to walk into downtown Clayton easily. Parking was great, and the large kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals easily. The beds were quite comfortable. The only miss here was the cleanliness. The floors were quite dirty, the toaster oven was greasy and started smoking when we tried to use it, and other surfaces, dishes, furniture, and appliances were not clean. The host was polite and helpful; however it did take a while to hear back when we asked about the toaster.

So I enjoyed my time staying at the Blue Moon property to be clear. The only negative is that the ceiling has a water leak along a seam and some plaster came separated and was on the floor after a heavy rain the night prior. This will be a big problem and it needs to be addressed before someone else stays at this site. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time.

Central Location to do some Hiking

The apartment has everything you need for a short-term stay. The kitchen has sufficient cutlery/pottery/cookware and everything is in perfect working condition. It is far enough away from the main thoroughfare to not be affected by traffic while close enough that everything can easily be reached on foot - Clayton isn't that large :).

This was the perfect little spot for a 2 night stay! It was right in downtown Clayton and we could walk to everything on Main Street. The apartment was perfect for our party of 4. We had everything we needed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable as well! Very easy check in/check out process. We would definitely stay again!! Thanks!
