A great stay from beginning to end. Beautiful location, beautiful cabin with all the extras. Views, extra comfy beds, luxury everywhere you look. We won’t even look at another property for our return trips.

We all got sick

This wasn't clean and had a massive accumulation of dust and irritants. Everyone got sick, we had to open the doors most of the weekend to air things out. Also, laundry and sheets were cleaned so some is us did laundry on site.

Great mountain cabin

Well stocked, comfortable cabin in the GA mountains. Beautiful views. Property managers was very responsive. Convenient location with access to nearby hiking trails.

Perfect getaway

Perfect escape. Close enough to town we could get there and far enough away to be removed from it all! Watching the sun rise and the Smokey Mountain fog dissipate while sitting on any of the four porch sitting areas with a hot cup of coffee was a perfect start to each day.

Spring Break 2024

Amazing property! Beautifully decorated with everything you could need in a rental. It is far enough from Blue Ridge so you feel by yourself but close enough to go into town. The drive from town to the home is beautiful and runs along the river. You have a general store about 10 min away if you need anything and about the same distance to the Aska trails. Really enjoyed our time and Madeline was very responsive with the couple of questions we had. Would stay again!

Absolutely Beautiful

This is one of the most beautiful properties my family and I stayed in. If you want beautiful decor, beautiful views, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you. The hosts were always avaliable and answered any questions we had. The only issues we had was with the gravel road, trash bin and entertainment. Thehosts did advise that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is not needed, however we wish we had known to turn off the traction and to put the car in first gear to get to the property.

Perfect Stay

I can't say enough about our wonderful stay in Cherry Log! Communication was excellent. The cabin was a wonderful, comfy space with so many thoughtful touches. The view was wonderful, especially at sunset. Beds were extremely cozy. I loved the organization...labels and posted instructions are always so helpful. We had babies, so the crib and accessories were much appreciated. There is a peacefulness to this location. Even though it is not isolated from other houses, it feels that way. Our favorite place was the outdoor space with the fireplace. The house itself is beautiful, a perfect blend of modern and mountain rustic. The space is wonderful and accommodated our family so well. The kitchen is well equipped with the best appliances! Phone reception is sketchy but we had no issues at all with the wifi. This was a perfect stay for us and I hope to book again soon!!

Nice design, Average execution

It was a very nicely-designed cabin with a spacious layout and pretty view of nearby mountains. However, the cabin would benefit from a deep cleaning as well as a re-stock of the cookware and utensils. I found myself a bit frustrated by the term "luxury" used in the advertising and the thick amount of grease found on several utensils in the kitchen, cookware that was simply unusable due to improper cleaning and peeling of Teflon, spots on linens and accent pillows, holes in outdoor furniture (accent chairs), TV that didn't function properly (near hot tub), record player that doesn't play records, and a good bit of dust throughout the cabin. The term luxury could perhaps be used to describe the overall environment and aesthetic of the cabin, but true luxury is found in the details and care for the space. I would imagine that the Owners of the cabin were very much engaged in the first few years, but it appears that they've likely taken a step back and allowed their cleaning partners a little too much autonomy and have not addressed basic maintenance needs/routine care for a cabin of this size.

Sleeps 14 comfortably

VRBO advertised three double beds plus one twin bunk bed which is not accurate. VRBO also said it slept 16. It was actually one double loft bed plus one double bunk bed. Because of not having the twin bunk bed, two people slept on the couches. Max occupancy is 14. The kitchen floor had not been mopped, but the owner sent the cleaner who cleaned the floor. The master shower could use a good scrubbing. There was a big clump of black hair in the shower drain and the shower smelled musty. We didn’t have hot water the first night, but the owner sent someone to turn it on the next morning.

Blue ridge summer trip

The house is really nice and the communication was quick. We had trouble driving up to the house. Thank G-d the neighbor saw and told us to turn off traction and put it on first gear which worked very well. When I got there I looked over the rules provided in the handbook for example garbage needs to be placed in garage bags. In the outside garbage there was garbage scattered around. I sent pictures to the property as well as a few pictures of damage that occurred before we got there. Suprisingly after we left we were told that the cleaners said we had a pet there (we don't own a pet and didn't bring any in). I told them to check the ring video. Also that there was some damage claims that we did not do. They said they would look into it and so far we've not heard back. We had a really nice stay but I'm sorry we had this confusion at the end. We rented numerous times and never had a problem. garbage needs to be placed
