"Lamentablemente, mi experiencia en este lugar fue muy decepcionante. Durante mi estancia, la música de la mini discoteca o centro de eventos en las instalaciones se mantuvo a un volumen extremadamente alto desde aproximadamente las 10:00 p.m. hasta las 2:00 a.m., acompañada de personas gritando y haciendo ruido en los alrededores durante gran parte de la noche. Lo más preocupante es que parecín estar al tanto de la situación y no se tomó medidas efectivas para garantizar el descanso de sus huéspedes. En una ciudad como Arequipa, donde muchos visitantes necesitan descansar y aclimatarse a la altura antes de llegar a Cusco, una noche de sueño adecuada no es un lujo, sino una necesidad. Reservé esperando comodidad y descanso, pero fue prácticamente imposible dormir. Si buscan un lugar tranquilo para recuperarse después de las excursiones o para aclimatarse, recomendaría considerar otras opciones."

"Brilliant hotel. Stay here if you can. Beautifully renovated colonial building. Rooms excellent. Very comfortable and clean. Safe and fridge in room. Daily water bottles. Hotel right in centre of city. Can walk everywhere. Breakfast buffet excellent. Staff lovely. Friendly and helpful."

"We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water (although there was one day when it was not as hot). From the hotel you can easily walk to restaurants (we loved Zig Zag, 13 Monjas and Dimas) and attractions (museum of history; catalina convent). Highly recommend it!"
