Heather at check-in was great. My room waa clean and well stocked and everything functioned well. I don't understand why they won't get another microwave. Its very frustrating. They haven't had one for a while. I am an early riser and sometimes i need use of a microwave to heat water, etc.

The beds were very comfortable and had thick soft supportive pillows. Nice black out curtains so we had a good nights sleep. The heater worked well and the room was clean. The only thing that stands out negatively is the door lock. The strike panel inside the door jamb was very loose, and there was a sliver of light that you could see from the top of the door to the bottom as the door didn't touch actually touch the door jamb. There was also a security lock on the inside of the door that was really loose because there was a screw missing so the metal ball did not fit into the lever right to provide any additional security. Testing the actual door, the regular lock was working so I figured we were fine for the night as it was really quiet at this motel.

Cockroaches in the bathroom.

I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. This has got to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, if it was an option, I would have left and found another hotel to stay in. I am disabled so I selected the accessible bathroom, it looked more like a cell than anything. Tiles were falling off, black mold in corners of the room, and my first night there was a COCKROACH next to the toilet. Not only that but the room just sucked in general, there were no amenities, the bed was uncomfortable and the bedding awful, I had to buy a blanket from home goods. I tried the pool, it was disgustingly dirty and your feet got muddy if there were wet. The walls are so thin and the curtains had moth holes, that it let in all light and sound. It's a motel 6, sure you can't expect the best, but it can have the dignity to at least be clean. Avoid this one, it's worth it to spend an extra 20 bucks at a regular hotel. The only good thing to say was that there was one very nice staff member, but overall, the rest of the staff was prickly and unwelcoming. I am never staying here again.
