Great Stay Overall, but Be Prepared for a Dusty Drive

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a great experience. The layout of the house was fantastic—perfect for multiple couples. We especially appreciated the king-size suites with attached bathrooms, which offered plenty of privacy. The home was very clean, and the property management team was friendly and responsive throughout our stay.We opted to pay extra to have the pool heated, but unfortunately, when we arrived, the pool had a green tint and clearly not ready for us. The pool company came the next day and added chemicals, and by that afternoon, the pool was in great condition.One thing to note that wasn’t clearly outlined in the listing or at least I didn’t pick up on: the road to and from the property is a long dirt/gravel road. It was bumpy and extremely dusty—we had a layer of dust on and in our vehicles by the time we left. It made coming and going, especially trips into town, feel daunting since you had to drive slowly the entire way.That said, the house itself was lovely and well-equipped, and overall, it was a good time.

Loved the stay

The dirt road of 4.5 miles to the property left a lot to be desired with every car going at less than 20 mph. But the home was perfect. 4 families and 15 people easily fit in and Loved it.

Amazing house, dirty hot tub, dirt road is rough

The house had everything we needed and was very clean, great setup for groups with small kids. Tons of room outside to explore and play. The long dirt road to get to the house was rough. 15-20 minute drive on the dirt for to get to HWY 259. Night one the upstairs AC went out and they sent maintenance, but he couldn't fix it. The AC man arrived the next day and got it fixed quickly. The hot tub needed to be drained and cleaned, it was cloudy and we ran out of chemicals to add to it each day.

Great house not so great access

Cabin was beautiful it alone deserves 5 stars from the cleanliness to the comfortability. The main thing I would say is the road leading up to the house is why I can not give 5 stars. It takes 20 mins to get down the road because it’s just rock/gravel it’s not smooth at all. It makes it to where you feel like you can’t even leave because it’s so rough and inconvenient. The entire time we worried about what damage our vehicles would sustain so we really didn’t even care to leave much. Cabins are beautiful but I’d beware before booking if you have a low car or just don’t want to take a total of 40 mins just to access the house coming and going. Very inconvenient need to petition county for it to be paved.

Nice property. Very clean. Management a little slow responding, but did assist with needs once they responded. I would suggest adding gutters over the front door. When it’s raining, rain falls directly over the door causing guests to get wet and bring in more water on to the floor.

Great cabin, needs better signage

The cabin was so great for our friends and family. However, the signage is not clear enough to indicate which cabin it is. The access code did not work upon checking in so I called with my name and cabin name, and was given another code. Morning rolled around and we were informed we were in the wrong cabin! Once we got into the right one, it was a great weekend. Biggest suggestions I have would be to adjust signage on the houses and offer more dining seating.

Wonderful vacation house

The property was gorgeous as pictured. It was secluded in the woods, yet not far from other properties. It was an easy drive into the city to explore the town. The house itself was very clean and accommodating for all the guest. I will definitely consider this location again.

Amazing

Everything was clean, easy to check in. The man we worked with through all of this was great. The only issue was the rug in living room was curled up and trip hazard. We want to come again next year but will need a bigger place more people coming.

Great host

The house was great. It had everything we needed. There was an issue getting into the house when we arrived for check-in, but the host was great and had someone to open the house for us 5 minutes later. The road getting to the cabin is crazy and doesn’t load on the gps, but the host was great and gave perfect directions to get to the cabin. We went in the beginning of July and it was super hot, so with that being said, a couple of fans could be placed outside to make it a little more comfortable. Overall, the host was great to work with and my family would stay here again.
