Very mixed. House was fine but had several problems. The upstairs air conditioner was not working at all and it reached 80 degrees up there where most of the bedrooms are. Impossible situation with smaller children who needed to sleep. Management was unable to find someone to come and fix it so we offered to try to find someone ourselves. Successful but it was midnight before it was resolved. They assured me that they would reimburse me the 350 I had to pay for that. Also the propane tank for the BBQ was empty so we were unable to grill our first night’s dinner as planned. Management stated they had tried to get this remedied but had been unsuccessful. Not satisfactory in my opinion.Furthermore neither the inside or outside fireplaces had working gas so we could not use them all all. And no wood was supplied for the firepit. So many issues for a house at this price point.

The host was responsive, but there were multiple issues during our stay, including roaches in the cabin, a non-working restroom, both fireplaces not functioning, and dirty bed linens. While communication was prompt, the concerns were not resolved during our visit, which affected our overall experience.

The set up of the cabin was great. Really liked the coffee bar and all the cooking items. Ice Maker was not working on the fridge very well. The biggest disappointment was the fireplaces inside and outdoor was not working. With the cold weather they were needed. Didn't like the 10am check out either. Other places we have stayed had a 11:00 check out.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful and the creek in the back was lovely. We did have a couple of problems though. The fireplace outside did not work and also they did not have any patio furniture as listed and shown in photos. Also the direct tv did not work and hot tub was not working properly, front jets worked and not back ones. They had deer that would come in the evening in the back yard. We did have a great time.

Vacation 2024

Our family tries to get together every year for a family vacation. We chose the Broken Bow/Hochatown area this year. The cabin was spacious and had plenty of room for our gathering. It was a little hard to find due to there being no sign for the cabin, as there were for other cabins, but I called the host and immediately got answers. The WiFi connection wasn’t very stable but that didn’t bother us too much as we were there to enjoy each other’s company. This cabin was perfect for us in a beautiful location. I definitely recommend staying here!

Work family

First off, the cabin looked mediocre from curbside. House looked kinda blah and a front upstairs window revealed a storage area and one of the 2 porch lights were out. Flowerbeds in front were overrun with weeds. However, once you walk inside, it was amazing. The back covered patio and fire pit area and lit walkway path down to the creek were so nice!!!! It was a little tricky to find. Instructions were slightly confusing. References to places you pass are not in order and final instruction of turn left on Black Jack trail and cabin is on your left makes it seem like it would be the first on your left but it’s actually like 3 or 4 down. Trash bins were completely full upon arrival so we felt like we couldn’t feel we could 100% comply with the taking out the trash upon departure. Communication with host however was fantastic. Late check-in of 4pm and early check out of 10am. Expensive for one night of only a few hours. Overall minimal complaints, just minor house keeping issues but a great cabin for a large group!

Great for our group.

Excellent location and fine accommodations. Worked very well for our fishing group of six. Kitchen unusually well equipped for our needs, coffee additions impressive. Service of the host was the best by far that we have enjoyed in over 12 years renting in the area. Look forward to doing it again.

Great Place for A Family Gathering

We decided to have a mini family reunion weekend and this place worked great. There were private rooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the kitchen/dining/living room area was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, including an incredible array of spices. Communication with the owners was great and small issues were addressed quickly. (Had trouble with the check in code on the door, owner responded quickly, and we got in without another problem) the patio and yard had plenty of space for everyone to have conversations with a few or several people and the hot tub was a great place to warm up on a cold night. The shuffleboard table provided a fun challenging game for the evenings and got some of the older adults that don't like games to participate and play. Overall, would stay here again. Very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your house for our fun family weekend together.

Great family gathering place

Check in was easy, cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies needed. Plenty of room for family fun with access to games for all ages. You must be able to walk up and down stairs especially with the loft bedroom up top with a narrow, winding staircase which would be perfect for older kids with plenty of energy and flexibility. But overall great location and privacy for a weekend of wedding shananigans!

Great weekend!

The house was the perfect size and location for our group. The teens enjoyed sitting by the creek under the lights, and the adults used the outdoor space to watch a lot of football.

Amazing Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Our adult kids as well as grandkids were all amazed at how gorgeous and spacious this cabin was. There was most everything you needed there. Beds were very comfy and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. . It was close to all the restaurants and activities. The owners got right back with us for any questions we had. Bachelorette Heaven!!

I have nothing but rave reviews for this cabin! Firstly, Karan is an OUTSTANDING host: very communicative, friendly, and helpful! Secondly, the cabin was TERRIFIC!! It is very spacious, clean, and BEAUTIFUL! The beds were luxurious!!! Very comfy!! We had coffee (drip and Keurig cups) and a bottle of wine awaiting us when we arrived, and we all LO ED the hot tub! We also loved the fire pit down by the creek! I have stayed at several cabins in the Broken Bow/Hochatown area, and this was my favorite!

Great Stay

Highlight was the bonus fire pit down by the creek. Has overhead lights to create an awesome atmosphere. Also little things like shampoo/conditioner, coffee, spices, s’mores, and bottle of wine all included! Highly recommend this cabin!

Great getaway

Perfect COVID getaway for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. The cabin was large enough for all to have space with plenty of things to do. We ordered take out twice but mostly cooked in the cabin to stay safe. We played games, had s’mores, sat in the hot tub, watched deer, looked at stars and had a great time together. We had a group of 10–7 adults and 3 kids (14, 9, 6) and one dog. Host was responsive to any questions or issues. Home was clean and as advertised/pictured. Great location, close to everything and very quiet area. Overall would stay again anytime!

Great cabin!

This cabin had everything we needed, very family friendly and a ton of space for a big group. Would recommend this cabin again and again and will definitely try to stay here again if we come back to Broken Bow.
