Enjoyed a pleasant 4- night stay at VEA during the Christmas season. This Marriott property in Newport Beach, which we stayed before in 2018, is much improved following a major renovation… We were always warmly greeted by the valet staff, front desk professionals & housekeepers. Kudos to the following VEA employees who made our stay a wonderful experience: Edward @ check-in, Rachel @ check-out, Tiffany Beau Danny Jake Rashaan Grant @ parking valet A few suggestions include providing in room slippers & personal toiletries, and consider lowering the very pricey $60 daily charge for valet parking (no self park option on-site)! The elevators were very far away. We overlooked the roof of the hotel. The light that goes on automatically in the bathroom is not enjoyable in the middle of the night. The water pressure in the shower is extremely light.
