Storybook Cottage Encantador y caprichoso

Escondido en una comunidad tranquila junto al lago. Sólo 6. 4 millas al corazón del centro de Blue Ridge. Menos de 2 minutos en automóvil a través del vecindario hasta el área recreativa de Morganton Point, donde puede disfrutar del acceso al lago, la playa pública, la rampa para botes y las puestas de sol más hermosas. Excelente vecindario para caminar, andar en bicicleta y fácil acceso por carretera pavimentada. El excelente servicio de wifi y celular, junto con un amplio escritorio de trabajo y una silla cómoda, lo hacen ideal para trabajar de forma remota.

EL ESPACIO:
 Gracias a las montañas circundantes, nuestra "cabaña del libro de cuentos" está hecha de una hermosa construcción de troncos y exuda encanto tradicional. Un rincón de comedor está junto a una cocina ecléctica que, aunque pequeña, está equipada con todo lo que un cocinero querría. Dos habitaciones de invitados en la planta baja conducen a una terraza abierta, mientras que un gran "altillo" tiene 3 camas individuales y baño adicional.

BARRIO:
Nuestra cabaña está ubicada en la comunidad junto al lago de Ridgeview Heights y está convenientemente ubicada para todo. A menos de dos minutos en automóvil del ÁREA RECREATIVA DE MORGANTON POINT, puede disfrutar de las puestas de sol más hermosas sobre el lago Blue Ridge. Morganton Point también ofrece una PLAYA PÚBLICA donde puedes alquilar canoas, tablas de remo o simplemente pasar el día nadando. Dé un tranquilo paseo por el vecindario ... sumérjase en las vistas panorámicas de las montañas a lo largo del hermoso lago Blue Ridge y recorra algunas de las casitas más hermosas junto al lago. Estamos a unos 5 kilómetros de una tienda de comestibles Inglés y el centro de Blue Ridge. Time Well Spent!

We had a great 4-night stay! The cottage was perfect and Mary has thought of everything you may need! Neighborhood was quiet and only a 10 minute walk to the lake. Would love to come back for another visit!

Spring Break Simple Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 11-year-old daughter. We found plenty to do around the area, including downtown, the train ride, hiking, fun little golfcart trips around the neighborhood into the lake. Everything was great in the house. It’s always nice to already have seasonings in the kitchen when cooking away from home. This would be a great place to go in the summertime.

Perfect relaxing vacation!

Storybook cottage is completely accurate! So peaceful Perfect for our family of 5. This was the perfect location for our family to get away from it all. Within an hour’s drive of Amicalola Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Helen - all of which we visited. Downtown Blue Ridge close by was another daytime outing. Rainy day spent inside the cabin was thoroughly enjoyable and became family game day. Cabin had everything we needed for a much needed get away!

Mountain Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay in this cute little cabin! Probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, which is extremely important to us and very much appreciated! Perfect little spot near the lake and town. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again if we visit the area!

Holiday magic

The cottage was lovely, clean and well furnished with a very user friendly kitchen and dining area. We really appreciated the Christmas decor and tree for tne children.They also enjoyed the golf cart to ride down to the lake for wading in the cold water and rock hunting, as well as frisby with their Dad. All in all it was even better than we expected,and was a perfect fit for our holiday budget. We would definitely like to rent it again for family.

The cottage is in a lovely mountain landscape. The fireplace kept the cottage cozy during the cold weather. There really wasn’t anywhere to take the golf cart as the lake and restaurant weren’t open.

Peaceful neighborhood

This home was comfortable, adequate, spacious, and in what appeared to be a very peaceful neighborhood. It was perfect for the two of us and would've worked just as well if we had traveled with another couple of for a family with kids. We shared multiple messages with the owner before and throughout our stay, all of which were addressed very quickly. We would definitely return to this area and this home

Fall Vacay in north Georgia

It was a great place to stay! Nice and quiet and away from towns! Scenery was gorgeous. About the only problem we had was that we got there after dark and access was a little scary getting our luggage out and down the hill to the front door. Otherwise, everything was great.

Lovely stay - location and space!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay - myself and 3 adult children. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, the linens were clean, etc. We especially enjoyed the firepit and chairs and use of the golf cart. The owner was very responsive when I had a couple of questions. The only thing I would say for others...if you are sensitive to noise...this cottage has zero sound barriers. You can hear EVERYTHING from every room - the cool wood ceilings are also the floor above and without any other insulation, sheet rock, you can hear it all. We didn't care too much, but if you are there with multiple couples or light sleepers, it could be. Highly recommend!

Nice place!

We had a great time at the cottage. It located close to the lake and not far from downtown Blue Ridge. The inside was very nice and very clean. The only complaints we had were 1) the exterior doors sticking( hard to open) due to temperature changes ( we were notified in the check-in email about this so it wasn’t a surprise just annoying). This would also put the electric lock on the door in a bind sometimes, but there was a key in a lock box to assist with opening the door. 2) Due to it being a older cottage the upstairs floor was squeaky so anyone in a bedroom on the main floor could hear every move from above. All in all it’s was a nice place and w would stay there again!

This is such a cute mountain cabin/house with everything you need in it. It is well decorated and stocked. Great location close to the lake and other attractions in a quite neighborhood. We loved our stay and the host was great, very responsive to the short power outage we had due to storms. I highly recommend

Quiet and relaxing.

We stayed at this cottage in Morganton, GA, to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary. The one thing that we observed about this property and that we will always remember is how quiet the place was during the day and especially at night!! You could hear a pin drop. Absolutely no noise at night. Perhaps we have become too accustomed to the urban noise in the Atlanta area. We enjoyed our stay. We thought the web pictures showing the cottage's interior were a little "photo shopped", but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Felt secure, relaxed, and enjoyed out time in the Blue Ridge area.
