Excellent communication with host! Thoughtfully laid out! Many nice touches! The more you stay, the longer you want to stay. The king size bed was very comfortable. The Clawfoot tub was a treat. Enjoyed cooking and being able to visit with family & enjoy the fire in the open floor plan - we really loved the Christmas Tree that made it special - Our Dog enjoyed our stay very much

Perfect relaxing summer mountain getaway. House architecture is charming and the interior was warm and inviting. Everything was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning & watching the critters feast on the host provided seeds. The evenings were cool enough to soak in the spa. We especially appreciated that our two dogs were welcome. The pups enjoyed watching the critters and sniffing in the woods below the deck. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but the host responded promptly to any messages.

Quiet and Cozy

My husband and I stayed here with our dog. Upon entering the cabin it smelled fresh and was very clean. Which is very important to me. The king bed was comfortable and the view was great ! Having coffee each morning and looking out at the view was just what I wanted. The description and comments on the cabin are accurate. I felt the location was close to everything that we needed. Jennifer was great and so easy to get ahold of if needed. Check in was very smooth. If everything you read is what you want, then this cabin is for you. Thank you Jennifer for being a great host.

Cozy Hideaway at Big Bear Lake

The cabin was very cozy and quiet. My wife and I were very impressed with the modern amenities and the well stocked kitchen. Even though the house is located within a suburban neighborhood, the views from the back porch are quiet and full of beautiful nature views. The home was easy to access even with the 7 inches of snow the night before we arrived. Just a few blocks to the nearby grocery stores and food. The slopes are also within two miles and there are hiking trails all within a few minutes drive. The home has a good amount of books, board games and puzzles in case you don’t want to venture out for entertainment. The WiFi is fast and each room has a modern smart tv and access to streaming apps. While we did not use the hot tub, it is perfectly located to enjoy the picturesque landscape while relaxing. Final note, we strongly encourage future guests to use the provided ‘critter feed’ on the back porch. Putting out some of the provided bird seed, we really enjoyed watching the various birds and chipmunks feeding. 10/10 would recommend.

Beautiful Christmas stay

This is a lovely chalet in a very quiet wooded area of Big Bear. The amenities and small touches provide by the host are excellent and made our 3 night stay run smoothly. Check-in and out was smooth and the property was SUPER clean for when we arrived. We walked to the lake one day and whilst the village is just a 5 min drive away, we also walked into town one day which is a lovely 3 mile partial trail walk through beautiful scenery. Highly recommend property and host.

Amazing little spot

My boyfriend and I decided to do a little cabin vacation with our 3 year old pup for my birthday. We picked this spot because the description sounded perfect (especially because they mentioned pets being family). When we arrived this little chalet was amazing! The place was clean, cozy, and super convenient. There were so many small details around that made the stay more enjoyable such as board games, DVDs, small bookshelf, bird seed for bird watching, and much more. I found the even smaller details like lotion next to the handsoaps, labeled cabinets, and an well-prepared Big Bear information binder showed how much the owners cared to make the stay easy and comfortable. I hightly recommened this spot.

Cozy Family Getaway

Our family was looking for a last little get away to relax and bond as a family before school started up. This was the perfect place for us to do just that. The view from the porch was so lovely. The trees were breathtakingly beautiful. The birds were an absolute joy to be around. Our host was kind enough to leave treats to be shared with the birds and squirrels. The evening views were also special because the night sky just fills up with so many stars as far as the eye can see. We even lucked out with a thunder storm, which allowed us to see just how cozy this place can be in the winter. The location also needs to be mentioned because anywhere we wanted to go was a short and easy drive away. Perfect. Just perfect. Thank you for being so thoughtful and making this a wonderful escape.

Great Chalet!

Very comfy cabin! All the amenities you would want. TVs in all rooms, hot tub, grill, and more! First floor bedroom was ideal for my Dad. The kitchen is modern and nice to prep meals in. Close enough to everything in Big Bear. We had a very nice stay here and hope to be back!

Spent 2 days at this place and it was a joy. Nice kitchen, amazing views, and lots of information about the area and what to do. The host was incredible too - checking in, making recommendations. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing getaway for Spring break

We came to Big Bear on Spring break and stayed on this property Monday-Friday. It was an amazing week. This property was perfect! Beautiful A-frame chalet with a great hot tub. The huge windows were a plus! The view from the balcony was unmatched. It was like a winter wonderland in Spring. We felt like we were in the forest but not so isolated. All of the fun activities were within 6-20 minutes from the property. Close to stores and fast food. Plenty of board games and other things to do in house. The host, Jennifer was very responsive and nice. We will definitely be back!

Iconic Big Bear Mountain cabin

We are from near Toronto, Canada. My wife and I and our teenage kids were talking about where to go for March break vacation. 2 of us wanted to go on a sun vacation and two of us wanted to go skiing. It is fascinating that in Southern California, you can do both within 2 hours of each other. One day it was 22 degrees on the beach of Santa Monica and less than 2 days later, we were skiing in 2 feet of powder! The accommodations, were clean, scenic and very well taken care of. We wholeheartedly recommend this cabin in the woods! Cheers, Ben from Canada

Lovely Cabin

We had a lovely little winter escape here. Cabin was immaculate. Kitchen was comprehensive and well organized. Perfect place to cook, watch movies by the fire, and hot tub as it snows.

Our stay

We had a cozy and nice stay. The distance to everything required us to do a lot of driving but we always enjoyed coming back to the cute, cozy cabin. The birds and animals that visited the back deck were really neat. We missed having a dishwasher so we didn’t cook a lot, but the kitchen was well appointed otherwise. It was fun place to stay and the host was lovely.

Mountain Gem

Such a comfortable and beautiful home. We felt like we were in a treehouse! Lovely decor and very well stocked kitchen. Lots of nice extras like soaps and lotions for the spa-like claw-footed tub. Quiet, pretty neighborhood is an easy drive to everything Big Bear has to offer.

Perfect Cabin with Great Amenities

A Perfect Place to Get Away

My mom and I (and my dog!) spent a week at this cabin and couldn't have asked for a better place or host. Jennifer is incredibly attentive and responds quickly to any message. Check-in is a breeze, the house itself has everything you need and the deck is a wonderful place to hang out. Will definitely come back.
