Just Okay

This was OK for an overnight stay on our way out of Barcelona. I liked the location and neighborhood. This probably was a very nice hotel at some point, but seems to have been neglected and needs a refresh. There was mold in the bathroom and other areas where a fresh coat of paint would be needed. For the price I would have expected more. The bed was comfortable though … strange TV set up behind mirrored glass.

Very unique hotel with character. Didn't like the neighbor smoking on the balcony and flicking his cigarette ashes onto mine, as well as him thinking it was ok to disturb guests with his loud conversation at 3:00 a.m., with his friend on the balcony. It's an older hotel and not sound proof so the hotel policy should be updated to support guests with being polite.

Bring ear plugs….

Check in was horrendous and they had only 1 person on reception when I arrived. They were checking in about 7 people as a group but one at a time. I had to go for lunch as I would have been waiting ages. The rooms were really noisy with no sound proofing and hard wooden floors so you could constantly hear foot steps. Breakfast was very average. I accept this is a 3 star hotel but when you pay over €1,000 for 2 nights, this should be a lot better

I had builders painting the hall way which was noisy they could have taken that into consideration. Also hearing the water gushing through pipes every time some used it wasn’t very calming. Price was great for an off season night in Barcelona.

Exactly as advertised online. The only complaint I have is power was turned off for the building (I understand it was out of the hotel’s control) on our last day from 9-12 and we weren’t given a notice. We have to use the coffee shop next door to charge our phones before we checked out. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
