Spacious, clean, comfortable, close to town
Great location. walking distance to town, restaurants, grocery store. Comfortable open layout plus bonus porch and deck. Needs a little maintenance and update, but would definitely stay there again!

Close to Bar Harbor's downtown
This house was great for our family's stay. More than spacious enough for my husband and I, who stayed in the back bedroom (stairs off the kitchen) and my 3 college age adult children in the two front bedrooms. Although the listing states 1.5 bathrooms, you can clearly see from the virtual tour that it has 2.5. Adjoining door between the 2 full baths upstairs makes it convenient to share items with the rest of the family.
It was clean and I loved that everything we needed was provided, including dish detergent, hand soap at every sink, a brand new wrapped sponge in the kitchen, kitchen towels and bath towels/hand towels/washcloths aplenty, and more than enough little soaps, shampoos and conditioners (name brand!) for everyone for the week. They also have pods for the dishwasher, so you don't have to pack things like that. (I overpacked!). Kitchen pretty well stocked with basic pots, pans, spices etc... although we didn't do much cooking beyond the toaster.
(TIP: for the refrigerator: make sure the left hand door is fully closed with edge of door fully engaged in the little track before closing the right hand door, or else you are leaving the frig open!)
Check in and out was a breeze, so easy, no issues at all.
And location is great, super close walking distance to the larger grocery store and a convenience store. Downtown is just a few mins drive away, same with Acadia NP's Cadillac Mountain entrance.
I would stay here again.

College Dorm
In the past there has been a document to tell you about trash, recycling. How to turn on the TV etc. There was nothing. Thee Trash can was on the deck and full. There was cardboard and bottles also put out on the deck. We did have broom but no dust pan.
I call the local contact listed but she told me she is not familiar with the property. It turns out the local college owns it and it is set up a bit like a dorm. The toilet had a leak and looked new. So I’m gather ing the wax donut had not set. The leak stop. However the bathtub/shower wasn’t draining so you stood in water. Vacasa sent somebody and they fixed that. Trash was emptied but there is not recycling apparently. They had put a new coffee maker out for 5 cups. LOL. Not really a coffee maker for la arger party. The dishwasher wasn’t working and I had to contact Vacasa. I’m thinking it was new property for them as well. The property was cleaned but it had the feel of a well used dorm. A place for college kids. The air conditioner in our room either was freezing or warm One room didn’t have any. We had a good time because we were in Bar Harbor......The house was a place to sleep. That is about it.

Comfortable, cozy house in excellent location
We were a group of 50's college women friends who stayed for a week. The house was overall perfect for our trip together. The house itself was comfortable for both socializing downstairs and sleeping upstairs. The central AC was quite welcome given the heat of July, though one BR did not have AC so we did not use it. The location was perfect, since it allowed us to walk everywhere in town, especially important since parking was very tight. The nearby grocery store (Hannaford's) and Walgreen's were quite handy. Also, as a tip to future travelers: there are two level 2 electric vehicle charging locations in walking distance from the house.
Overall, it was an ideal house for us, and we highly recommend it.
Some minor points, as suggestions to the owners to optimize the property:
1. A smart TV with access to streamlining services would be welcome. (Or suggestion to guests to bring an HDMI cable to hook up to your own devices).
2. The dishwasher was finicky and hard to start. We suspect the door does not latch properly.
3. If possible, would be nice to install AC into the middle bedroom upstairs.

Lovely stay, perfect location! Would absolutely stay there again!!
Loved the property . Perfect for our needs!
Just a note that all the trash cans were full outside when we arrived so there was really nowhere to put our trash, except to squish it on top of full cans. Also FYI-the fridge and freezer were never cold enough and coffee maker leaked. All not a big deal in grand scheme of visit so we only mention it now after the fact. We are out a lot and had a cooler with ice so not an issue for us, but might wanna have fridge checked. Thanks!

Great location !!!!
Pros- great location!!!!!!
Plenty of beds
Plenty of linens
Great open first floor for gathering
Things to consider-
The 2 full baths are attached via a door that only locks on one side (privacy)
If you want to use the tv bring a fire stick or Apple TV
The kitchen is very basic in terms of utensils and dishes
