"I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was relaxing and staff were friendly and welcoming. When I departed on April 9, I realized that I had forgotten my watch at the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, the front desk gentleman drove his motorbike to quickly return it to me at the station. ..."

"This place is quite dated and not cell maintained. Lobby furniture reminded me of my grandma’s house (and not in a good way), room was cramped, food mediocre. We booked two nights, but left and went elsewhere after the first night. I would not recommend it."

"It was a scenic walk from the lake to the property, we enjoyed it although it was drizzling. The room was nice and comfortable to accommodate 5 of us. We didn’t realize that there was no attached shower room when we booked so was a little shocked when we realized that upon check-in. If you intend to go to the onsen (which you should really go - there are 2 private ones and a big public one), then there’s no big issue with that. The dinner experience was also great, it was an extensive spread and immediately after dinner, there was free drinks at the front desk area. I would love to stay one more night so we could thoroughly enjoy the facilities and the beautiful surroundings!"
