Our check in was great, even though my DIL had booked the wrong date for their stay. The original room my son got had some spiders, snekked and had a cigarette burn in the sheet. Management moved them to another room, with no issue. After that, both our rooms were clean and smelled good. Son did find a tiny baby gecko in the room and released it outside. Check out was quick and easy. This is an older facility. Upstairs rooms are nicer than downstairs rooms. We ended up with rooms across from each other, so just left our doors open and let the grandsons go back and forth. We had stuff strapped down in the back of our truck. Nobody bothered it. Will stay here again. Looked kind of scary pulling in, but had a good stay.

We have stayed at this motel before and liked the staff and cleanliness of the room. This is an older style motel, but updated and very well maintained. Although there is no breakfast served, there are plenty of eating options nearby and they do have coffee in the mornings.

I attended a one week seminar in Alexandria which took place at a large hotel chain. Most people that attended stayed at that hotel which cost 55% more than the Red Roof. To their surprise, their rooms were only cleaned twice a week. Nothing special bu their lobby area. Red Roof was just remodeled professionally. The room was cleaned daily. My wife worked remotely and their WiFi was very strong. I was very impressed and obviously happy to save 55%. I would recommend highly.
