Two couples/friends.
We booked 2 rooms. My room had a brick wall and ceiling beams, as pictured in ad. It was nice, but half the sink area was missing. It looked like there had been drawers at one time. Now just a worn piece of plywood. The sink was dripping, but not sure if they knew that (room240). The second room was bland at best. No brick wall. No puctures on wall. The shower door would not stay closed. This room needed some decorations. Overall a very nice stay! The staff was nice, friendly, and gave good suggestions. The room was cleaned often. We would stay there again.

Loved the courtyard. Pool would have been nice if it was warmer. Centrally located. Beds comfortable. Avoid room 136-the whole room reverberates with a loud clang when the gate to the courtyard closes and as this is New Orleans people are coming and going all night long. We had to request a room change after the first sleepless night.

The property looks nothing like the pictures. We literally had no light. It was super dark in our room. No lights on the ceiling. There was mold in the shower curtain and the beds were uncomfortable. The location is convenient but I’m sure there’s other hotels around that aren’t as bad

The property was ok, and the room was clean. The 2 things that put us off was the attitude and handling of the staff during check in. 1st, we got there early and just wanted to park there so as to start our afternoon walking around the French quarter. Immediately upon entering, the attendant at the front desk informed us that we could not check in early and that nothing could be done about it…we didn’t even ask. We just wanted to get the car parked and come back at 4:00 to check in….she bordered on being rude. 2nd, when we actually came back to check in there were several others who also wanted to check in. It was literally 3:57…again we were informed that check in wasn’t until 4:00. Then the manager or whoever she was, informed us that we could check in but there were no keys to the rooms, the computer was down and keys were unavailable. We were led to our room by the guy who parks the cars there as he apparently had a master key and led us to our room and opened the door. No promise of a key….nothing.
