"Two BR. and a Bath under the main cabin floor. The place was immaculate! The host were wonderful. The location couldn't be better. The bed was comfortable and thank God for the recliner. I have a bad back. There is River just about in the back yard. Breakfast and lunch are within walking distance in a mom and pop store that sells a variety of things. Beautiful Water Falls and a short drive to beautiful mountain views. Don't miss downtown Blue Ridge. Great shops, friendly people, a tourist train ride to a couple other towns and a variety of food establishments. If your planning to fish on your own, make sure you get a license. Georgia Cops Don't Play. The bottom line is: we had a great time and will return for a longer visit at the same place, THE ROCKY RIVER RETREAT."

"Location was absolutely beautiful and very convenient to shops and multiple hiking locations. Well appointed kitchen and relaxing screened in porch. Our favorite part was eating around the campfire by the river, and our daughter loved exploring up the small stream beside the property. It is a bit of a steep walk down to the fire pit area, so just be aware of that if you have smaller kids or older members of the family. Property manager was very quick to respond when we had questions."

"I cannot not say enough good things about this cabin. Myself and my family wanted to getaway for the weekend to fish, stay at a cabin on the water, and explore downtown blue ridge, and this was the perfect place for it. The river was only a few steps away, the cabin was gorgeous, and all the restaurants and shops in downtown blue ridge were only a 15min drive away. I was instantly at peace stepping into this cabin when I heard the water from the river and looked out from the balcony at all the woods and nature. The solid wood, stone countertops, and architecture inside the cabin were also beautiful. I loved the shuffle board table and board games as well. You can stare out the big windows in the cabin and see the water right there while you drink your coffee or play a game with your family. We loved how close the river was to fish. My kids especially loved all the hippopotamus decorations and are already asking when we are going back. The owners were also very prompt and contactable with anything we needed."

"Cabin was incredibly clean, beautiful views, easy enough to access (not a terrifying mountain drive to the cabin), cabin was totally stocked, no need to bring towels or cookware or spices or coffee or tea or anything like that! They supplied so much! It was very quiet and perfect for a getaway! Deer in the driveway every morning, birds chirping, Mountain View’s….wish I could of stayed forever lol! Thanks for a memorable vacation! Things I feel are a must do: eat at the Tocco River Restaurant, hike to Fall Branch Falls and the swinging bridge, shop downtown, go see waterfalls in Tennessee (Benton Falls), take a trout fishing guide and learn how to fly fish, drive thru the hollers, get some tea at Tupelo Tea!"
