The property location was 10/10. The property itself and the room was a 2/10. The room looked nothing like the photos. The walls were filthy and counters on the sink and tables were dirty. The carpet in the hallways dirty, including the carpet in the room. The Sonder let’s you know that it’s noises. However, you’ll probably only get 3 hours of sleep. It’s super loud, cars racing and people screaming. You’ll smell people smoking on non-smoking room.

Once you get use to the self service atmosphere it is just fine. the property is in a great location, with lots of parking you would think the cost to park would be less but the overall experience was quite good and the interactions I did have with staff were good as well. I will stay here again.

I liked the self check-in/out process and having codes on the doors instead of needing to carry around a key. The pool looked like it would’ve been great but due to the weather being cold we didn’t use it. There could definitely be some improvements in the rooms themselves. I don’t believe the sliding door was sealed properly as there was condensation in it after it rained, and it didn’t block any sound out in the slightest, it sounded as if there was no door at all. The only garbage can in our room was in the bathroom. The coffee machine leaked all over whenever it was used. It was dingy and could use some more lighting. The dressers were very small and didn’t even match and the walls were very bare, could use some more decor to make the place feel less grungy. Someone’s used ear plugs were also shoved into the headboard of one of the beds and hadn’t been removed before our stay.

Repairs and upkeep seem to be lacking on the entire property which is reflected in the price. However, it is in an amazing location allowing you to walk to anywhere you want to go in downtown Scottsdale
