Beautiful outdoors spaces. Rooms are average for Hilton. Restaurant, McArthur’s, disappointing in terms of menu, service, food quality (eat somewhere else). Bed very lumpy. One sink in bathroom doesn’t drain. This is a very expensive and historic hotel, but didn’t quite meet expectations.

Hello Virginia, Thank you for reviewing our hotel. We are pleased that your visit was enjoyable on many levels and you loved our beautiful grounds. However, we apologize for any frustration you experienced; we are grateful for your patience and understanding as we look into these concerns. Room was Very nice. The hotel is under construction and when a phone call was made prior to arrival they minimized the construction. In reality the main pool was completely under construction and other pools were also under construction during our Eight day stay…While it is understandable to have one of the pools under construction to be working on more than one is not acceptable. The staff were very very good.

We’ve stayed at the Biltmore many times and find this “old school” customer service and grounds a welcome change from corporate hotel properties. It’s a WaldorfAstoria resort now-and the only change seems to be even more investment in the Amazing grounds!!

8:30 am grass cutting right outside the door, coffee maker on a ledge over the ac vent, older property. Not worth $200 a night.

The property is beautiful and has 7 swimming pools. 4 restaurants. However the food this time was not pleasing and way over priced for what was served.

Architecture , beautiful landscape, enjoyed old style music and atmosphere. Staff was pleasant Luggage sat in heat, AC was in off position upon initial entry to room and sewer odor in room. Staff communication follow through needed.

Great resort

Awesome grounds with everything you will need at hand. Pools are great and a Villa is the way to go. A bit confusing to find main entrance at night but enjoyed looking at amazing homes around the golf course.

Biltmore Hotel

Pros: Classy atmosphere
Cons: More noise insulation with rooms with adjoining doors. Have parking closer to rooms.
Location: Location is fine. Close to nice restaurants, segway in Scottsdale, museums (including Musical Instrument Museum). It was a two hour drive to Sedona
Biltmore Hotel is a wonderful hotel. My only complaint is that our room had two separate doors to adjoining rooms with strangers staying there, There was no noise insulation and we could hear people talking next door, one time at 5 in the morning, as if they were sitting right next to us. The rest of the experience was wonderful.

Not My Style

If you are in the mood for a pretentious overpriced stay, this is for you. My salad included the core of the lettuce. I usually throw this away at home. I had no idea it should be included in an undersized $12 salad. I'll spend my money where I feel I receive a better value and leave this resort to the 1%.
