Very unsafe for families and single people. Do not stay here they will take your money. Travelocity does not show you how unsafe it is. There’s a bunch of street people bums and it stinks.

The room and property were filthy. They offer room cleanup just 3 times per week and, unfortunately, we had no room service for any of our 3 day stay.

The staff wasn't the problem; room readiness and cleanliness was. The sink had a large hole (I could fit my hand through it) in the basin. If you ran the water at more than a trickle it splashed out onto the floor. The TV didn't work at all even after trying to turn it on manually as well as trying a different outlet. And the bedding! The sheets had body hair and other particles on them and there was no blanket or comforter at all. I went to the lobby and asked for another set and was told they would be brought to me. An hour later I called the lobby to let them know the sheets hadn't arrived. After another half hour, I called the lobby again and was again told they'd be there shortly. The third time I called, I told the employee at the desk that I'd be coming to get the sheets. Instead of sheets I was given a key to another room and told I could take the bedding from that room. Overall not the best experience.

Pros: The room was clean....
Cons: Clean up garbage & appearance of hotel. Have coffee ready for guests at least b7 7 a.m. if not earlier since there are no coffee pots in the room.
Location: Hotel is in a good location and within reasonable distance to where we needed to go. Good location for restaurants and shopping.
Our hotel experience here was okay.... But of main concern was the amount of garbage around the hotel..... Garbage cans full and overflowing on our day of arrival. Sometime the next day these had been emptied but were all filling up again fast. Also the surrounding grounds were not clean... had trash here and there plus leaves & tree debris badly in need of being cleaned up. This hotel was advertised to have a continental breakfast, but when inquired about it was told, "No, only on the weekends". Our stay was booked for 2 nights, Monday & Tuesday. And in talking to the hotel on the phone prior to making reservations and coming the staff I spoke to stated they did have Continental Breakfast. However, they were quite helpful in giving information on restaurants in the area. Also, no clock or coffee pot in the room. Also, they had told me when they arrived that they did have coffee in the lobby in the mornings.... but the two mornings we were there I was told at 7 a.m. on Tuesday that no coffee had been made yet; and was told the same thing at about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.. !!!

The experience with the Hotel was HORRIBLE but not All their Fault TRAVELOCITY was one of the causes for this Disappointment also ......... Travelocity screw up the booking so the Hotel thought that they had then right to misstreat my Daughter for it !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED COSTUMER !!!

Worst hotel ever

This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The door to the bathroom was eaten by an animal the sheets had cigarette burns oh yeah and the massive water leak in the roof was super amazing. This place is falling apart. Don't ever stay here.

This is a slum hotel

Pros: I do not like this hotel or its location. A lot of homeless people hanging around the place.
Cons: A total remodeling of the building.
Location: It is next to Walmart and walking distance to some fast food restaurants.
The hotel is in run down conditions. The walk in rate is 49.99 during week day but they charged me $110 for my travelocity booking for a smelly room with dirty carpet. People were talking and walking outside my second floor room pass midnight. I did not feel safe staying there at all. Do not stay here.

SCARY

Pros: NOTHING
Location: Not possible
The picture that was shown for the room/hotel was not what I walked into. There was only sheets on the bed, no blanket or comforter. I don't think the pillowcases were clean. So I didn't even want to ask for any. It was awful!!!!!!!!! There were holes in the wall where outlets use to be. Also, it was supposed to NS, clearly not the case. Bathroom was dirty. Unfortunately the city was sold out pretty much everywhere. My Uber driver in the morning told me this location was known as a Crack house. Which explained the clientele that was around the premises. The hotel itself had a sign on it advertising $49.99 and up, the front desk clerk was quoting $ 69.00. How this site can say $159 is beyond me. Next time I will go sleep in the airport.

Did not Consider Repeat Customer's Needs

Pros: The front desk clerk was nicer when I checked out than when I checked in (it was the same man). The maintenance man was genuinely nice and friendly.
Cons: Staff shouldn't refer to ónline' reservations as if were a strange and not as good as any other way. Know who is checking in before they show up.
Location: Location is within walking distance of shopping and major freeways, and a few miles from Deer Valley Airport.
I have stayed only a few times at this hotel in the past, through Travelocity, and noticed a few things: they refer to my bookking as ónline' as if I were a second class citizen and nothing I requested could be accommodated. As such, my online request for non smoking room was not met, my request for a specific room was not honored because as it was said that specific room was one of the remodeled ones so by default I assumed mine was in need of being remodeled. At first, he couldn't even find my reservation even though I had made it 12 hours earlier. The room's A/C (a must in Phoenix-especially for my room which faced West) had broken knobs and was Off when I got there. When I told the front desk it wasn't working they sent up a very nice guy who told me it was operated by a button down by the plug on the outlet so he pushed some innocuous button in and it came on. Checking out was good, I got my deposit back without being prompted that it had been taken and the teller was polite and friendly after his 16 hour shift because presumably he was ready to leave for the day. I won't stay here again because this is my 2nd bad experience with Victory Inn and Suites-Phoenix because there are many more motels within a few feet of this one. They can't accommodate me on my requests so I will no longer stay with them. Also WI-FI didn't work the first times I stayed here, and this time the front Desk Clerk said "they were having problems with their Wi-FI" so it was down again.
