We had a wonderful time in Oxford staying at George Street Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They did an amazing job caring for us as we arrived early from the USA. The room was excellent, a great location in Oxford. But we will always remember the incredible staff!!!

Misrepresents itself as luxury but its basic
The first thing to understand is that it's NOT the luxury experience it presents itself as. They tried to put us in a lower ground floor room (which I wasn't even aware was possible), so I had to pay for an 'upgrade', which made it the same price as the Randolf down the street, which IS a luxury experience. The staff were friendly, and the room was fine. Just miffed at the misrepresentation. I will only stay again if there are no other options.

Lovely!
Loved this hotel! The location was unbeatable and the staff were so accommodating and kind. We had the top floor suite with balcony and it was lovely. Highly recommend!
