When we checked in we were asked if we had a preference of room location. I asked for a room on the bottom floor. We had two rooms and I specifically asked that the two rooms be next to each other as I was traveling with children. The girl told me she could not give us a room on the first floor as she didn't have any that were together. She then gave us our room and told us it would be on the third floor We went to Building A. The elevator closest to the room was not working. We unloaded our belongings went upstairs using the only elevator on the complete opposite side of the building. We arrive at to the rooms and realize that the rooms are at least 10 rooms apart. Nowhere near each other. I went back downstairs and asked another gentleman to at least give us rooms that were together.
I told him if we have to be on a higher floor that is fine. He was then able to give me a room on the first floor that were next to each other. Why wasn't this done in the first place?? I'm not really sure what the girls hang up was or why she had such an attitude. There were very few words exchanged between us. Her critical thinking skills were subpar at best. And her customer service skills were even worse. We have stayed here at least 3 times before and this is the first time we've had an issue. With the exception of the horrible check-in experience the rest of the stay was wonderful the rest of the staff was wonderful. Thanks have a great day.
