“Surf's Up” is the perfect beach house! Just steps to the beach, located on the bicycle/pedestrian path, and just a few houses down from the National Seashore. You'll have the most privacy on the beach, but you're also super close to restaurants, shopping, and activities. Every room has a water view! See gorgeous sunrises over the ocean in the mornings and watch spectacular sun sets over the sound at night, complete with views of Bodie Island lighthouse. Fully renovated in 2023.
The space
“Surfs Up” is brand new to VRBO for 2023. Please see our other listings for reviews. This completely renovated house is like new! All furniture and Sealy Beautyrest mattresses are brand new and super comfy. Kitchen appliances and hvac are all new as well so you don’t have to worry about mechanical breakdowns during your vacation. Flooring, paint, bathrooms, lighting, ceiling fans. and windows are all new as well.
Enjoy the beautiful ocean views and easy walk to the beach. A brand new propane grill is ready for your beach cookout! The kitchen is also fully equipped for your all your cooking needs.
Beach chairs and games are located in a storage are right by the outdoor shower.
The house features a reverse floor plan with 3 bedrooms and full bathroom on the first floor and the master bedroom with attached master bath on the upper level. Living room, kitchen, and dining room on the upper level as well.
Summer checkin and checkout days are on usually on Sundays, but we do have some shorter stays available this year so please inquire. Sorry, NO pets!

The glowing reviews lead me to take a chance on this property & I was not disappointed at all. “Surf's Up” was even better than my expectations. I loved the location, the quiet privacy, the new feel of the property & the attention to detail. I was comfortable from the moment that I arrived at “Surf's Up”. Everything that I needed was found at the propery. Communication & check in was easy. Can not recommend “Surf's Up” enough. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Surfs Up! You can’t beat the location and the house is beautiful - clean and well equipped. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice. The house is even nicer in real life!!! We definitely hope to stay again!

This was a fantastic property for our family vacation. The house is newly renovated and only steps to the beach. Kitchen has everything you need, outdoor shower was great, beach chairs and toys available. Host has recommendations for some great restaurants. Awesome experience overall in OBX.

Beautiful Property with attention to details!
This is a fantastic property, and it is recently remodeled. It is on what is essentially a cul-de-sac with with great beach views and beach access about 250 feet away from the front door. Because of its location surrounded by what is essentially park land, the beach is very private, and was one of the least populated beaches I have ever been on at OBX. The location is private, but provides quick access to Manteo and the built up areas of the beach. The host lives at the beach and was very responsive. The house is full of wonderful details that guests will appreciate such as trash bags, beach towels, and even dishwasher and laundry detergent. Highly recommend, and would stay there again!
