So angry with this property, I booked a king room paid for it and at check in it took forever, the clerk said o booked a queen room when I had a receipt from Expedia it was a king. Won’t use Expedia again

Ask the right questions
Overall the hotel is clean and the staff friendly and attentive. I chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool. I was going to be visiting my nieces and wanted a place for them to play so the indoor pool was great. I called the hotel to ensure that the pool was heated which it was. It was a good sized indoor pool and you could see the steam rising off the water as you entered the room. You could see the steam because the room was FREEZING!!! Yes I asked if the pool was heated and it was but I did not ask if the room itself was heated which it was not. Not only was it freezing but the condensation was dripping down on us the entire time. The kids had a blast and were warm as long as they stayed in the water. The adults...we froze!!! The breakfast in the morning was good...the staff very friendly...the room dated but clean...the bed comfortable. I learned a lesson too.

The property has a lot of homeless people living there with young children running around the halls. The pool area is locked, the lights were never on when we attempted to go in. Staff couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. The room on Saturday morning was 65 degrees. There were no coffee makers in the room but I was told the coffee would be on 24/7, 365. The only problem was that when I went to get a cup. The coffee machine was busted. Saturday afternoon, while taking a nap, the fire alarm went off. It was quickly shut off. I know from previous experience, that when an alarm goes off, you exit the hotel until the fire department gives an all clear. This did not happen. My only conclusion is, that this had happened before. When headings to the front desk, I saw a young boy, no more than three wandering the hallway. Later, a woman walked up to me and asked if I knew who he was. She said that he had been wandering around for over an hour. Dear traveler, don’t believe the glowing reviews. This place is a nightmare.

I got woken up a few times by the noises from the room beside. The bathroom seems a bit old, and noisy air con for my dad's room. Cannabis store is one block away, if anyone minds. They have a gas station and convenience store right beside them which is nice if you want some snacks.

Honestly, everything that you could want from this hotel and then some. We really enjoy the pool and breakfast. And so affordable!
