Everything about this place was perfect - the location, accommodations and view! The kayaks were a perfect touch (just wish the water was a little deeper), but was great for beginners :) Since we were from midwest, we were grateful for the A/C unit. Thanks for fresh peach jam!

My honey and I needed some quiet and this was a perfect getaway for relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful house and played games when it rained. My husband loved biking around while I listened to birds and stared at trees. Ducks joined us fireside and we saw a beaver swim by. It was pretty cold so I would love to return when its warm and kayak. The house was beautiful and comfortable , we had fun cooking (thats our jam) speaking of jam, a nice touch the homemade jam was delicious and thoughtful.

Beautiful property
We loved our stay! The house was clean and stocked with some essentials. The kitchen is spacious and very pretty. The view!! I can’t tell you how nice it is. The river otter came out to say hi just before we left. We also saw multiple duck couples, as well as geese. The property is quiet and private. We feel so refreshed after a long weekend here and can’t wait to stay here again!

What a great place to unplug and relax! The home is beautiful and well kept with all the right amenities. It is secluded enough to be able to enjoy the outside area and river, but close enough to town if you want to venture out. We will definitely be staying again!

Great place in a great location!
Stayed for a late birthday getaway and wedding. The location was great and a short drive to the venue in Marion. The property was so pretty with the fall colors. House was super clean. Love that the house had 2 bathrooms! Owners left us a sweet treat and some yummy jam! The price was perfect.100% recommend this place. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Perfectly lovely
Great property, everything was as described and the only surprises were pleasant ones like homemade jelly and s’mores fixings left out as a welcome. Everything was clean and nice, the location was perfect for a quiet recharging of my soul. We had some snags with the booking and the owner was nice and kind and responsive. I can’t think of anything bad to say about this stay and will definitely consider booking again.
