Strongly recommended. Amazing location that allows you to walk to the most popular destinations. Close to 711 and bus stop. Room was large and clean. Onsite washing machine was super convenient. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it’s nice to have. While they don’t offer the same toiletries as business hotels, you will get the basics. We’ll come back to this hotel again

We had a lovely stay here during our time ij Kyoto. It was a central location and less than a 10 minute walk to Kiyomizu dera temple. I really like how we had a small kitchen so that we could make breakfast in the mornings before we headed out. The apartment was very clean and had a good amount of space. The bed was very comfortable.

Loved this hotel! It was very close to Kiyomizu-dera temple, just a short walk away. Also very close to the bus stop. The front desk was very helpful in ordering taxis or asking questions. They were very nice and easy to talk to. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here on our first Japan trip and we're so glad we did! The location is superb, a few minutes walk and you are in Ninenzaka. There's also a supermarket nearby, and bus stops a few steps out of the hotel! The room is spacious as well and complete with kitchen appliances, though we didn't cook anything during our stay. The bed is comfy, and the bath is huge. For the price point, this is such a steal! Just a shame though that our room didn't have any window, but this isn't a deal breaker since the room has more than enough space. The staff at the front desk also were accommodating. We're planning to go back to japan this year and I have booked here again!

Fantastic hotel/apartment. It was nice having a full kitchen and a bit more room than your standard Japanese hotel. Check in was a breeze even after hours. It's just a few streets away from Kiyomizu Dera and the accompanying shopping streets! Will definitely stay again!

Clean and convenient to do laundry/cook as all amenities stated are in our room. Lady at reception has been extremely helpful when sending luggage and booking taxis. Of walking distance to tourist attractions too. Fully recommend and will come back again.

The property is great! Located on the edge of the Gion district - safe and clean. Appointed with washing machine, microwave, small kitchenette, some dining ware and a large bedroom by normal Japanese standards. Easily accessible by the 206 or the 86 bus (230 yen) from Kyoto station and stop right near the kiyomizu-dera temple.

We had a beautiful room on the fifth floor, it was really like a small apartment all to ourselves. We were surprised to find that we even had a large balcony with a great view! Very happy with our stay.

The best hotel in our 2.5-week trip! The room was actually an apartment with kitchen, washing machine and a nice balcony. We spent 5 days there, and appreciated the possibility to cook our breakfast, because most cafes nearby open at 9 am. The location is great, with many tourist attractions within walking distance and an easy bus ride to Kyoto train station.

I was super excited to stay at an old fashioned Japanese house during my trip in Japan. This house was about 5 mins walk in a quiet neighborhood away from the hotel. Unfortunately the house is not clean. Super dusty especially in the bedroom. We found an old bandaid on the floor and there were multiple stains on the mattresses. House was poorly ventilated, even with the windows open. We were congested being in the house and instantly relieved once we leave each day. The alley leading to the house could have used a light as we were navigating in the dark.

Great and clean stay! The room was very nice and even though we booked a double bed, the bed looked big enough to be a king! Very walkable to some great sites. The check in time ends at 7:30pm but the staff was kind enough to give us instructions to check in late around 9:00pm (especially since we were stressing about it!) would stay again :)
