This was a very nice motel and we would stay here again. We stayed in three different motels on our week- long journey and this was, by far the nicest. The only problems? Both ice machines were out of order. The pool was freezing.The room was freezing when we entered it; in fact, we switched the air to heat to warm up the room a little. My friend is a very light sleeper and went down to our vehicle during the night to smoke. He was annoyed by the number of vagrants who were allowed to parade around the parking lot all night long. We didn't feel as if our vehicle was safe parked there. One of the vagrants was actually allowed to enter the motel around breakfast time to help himself to coffee.

I was walking distance to the 2 major attractions, so that was good and why we booked there in the first place. It was not necessarily dirty but could use new carpets or better would be wood floors. Bathroom fan did not work. Upon request they give you clean towels but do not take dirty ones or replace cups and coffee

We came to visit the Lucy and Desi Museum and also the Comedy Centre and both were walkable from the hotel. Free weekend parking downtown if you choose to drive.

Good Overnight Stay
We have stayed here in 2020 they treated us with kindness. We had a funeral and they left us a sympathy card signed by staff. They did another wonderful job with our stay this time. The rooms are clean and the sheets are super comfy. Good morning breakfast of eggs and bacon. Would recommend.

I’d come back!!
Overall a very good stay! The breakfast was great, wide selection and well stocked. Pool was small but clean. I did wish the pool was warmer, but at least they had the room nice and warm. The room was good. We didn’t get a great view, but it was clean! Some dents and scratches in the walls, but it’s just some wear and tear. I was shocked to find out the amount of channels that came on the tv while watching late at night. I think it was close to 200 channels with an HBO package. Everyone was super friendly, no issue with any of the staff. If I needed something they were willing to help. Lastly, I appreciate that you can pull out extra room door cards without it being an extra charge. Overall, if I stay in Jamestown again I will be booking here.

There were no keys…. The front desk had to let you in every time you needed to get into your room…. Leaving the front desk unattended. The air conditioning was not working properly throughout the entire building. The room we are in apparently had the door jimmied at some point and it was not replaced…. It also smelled funny

Have stayed here before with little to no issue. This time however the hotel was undergoing some sort of technical update which required a person to open my room door every single time I needed to gain access (instead of handing me a room key). This was really inconvenient and I wish they would have called to tell me this was happening prior to my stay as it seemed like this was a multi-day project. I will be staying somewhere else next time that also offers a restaurant.

The huge problem was that none of the occupants could have a key for their rooms, as a computer glitch prevented coding the keys. It is not acceptable to not have a room key. The front desk person had to open my room every time, which limited the times I chose to leave the room. This had been already going on for 4 days when I checked in. This is a serious enough problem that I would like a partial refund. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and cooperative and the room was well appointed, though it had an unpleasant smell. Location right downtown was excellent.

The room was clean and fresh looking. The water was warm for the shower… Comfy bed and pillows and we really appreciate the fact that you will allow pets. We have a small dog that travels with us, he is very well-behaved and does not make messes at all in the room. Room is priced within our budget.
