We had a beautiful view from our room on the 35th floor, along with a small refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware. After getting our rental car, we phoned the hotel to get a parking space in the adjoining garage, and there is a daily charge to use it. Unfortunately, our space was on the 7th floor of the garage, and it took a long time (and lots of tight turns) to get up and down. From this hotel, we could walk to the state capitol and Iolani palace, and we also walked to a brewpub which was several blocks away. There is a Longs drugstore accessible by an escalator to the street level, and there is also a 7-11 store very close. If you want to go to Waikiki, you will need to drive there. When we were there, Oahu still had VERY strict Covid regulations. For example, only 2 people at a time in any elevator, and we had to show our VAX cards and IDs to get into any restaurant, hotel, etc. Masks are required everywhere.

Would not recommend. Hotel room had not been cleaned. Rug not vacuumed. TV's not plugged in & cable boxes not connected. Sparse kitchen supplies. Bathroom not cleaned - sink, toilet or tub. Area around hotel inundated by homeless mentally ill residents that will approach you. Air conditioning unit broke - repair done and left debris in our personal belongings - did not clean up after. Let hotel know - the response was "sorry" "hope you come back".

This hotel is in the middle of downtown Honolulu and away from all of the tourist bustle. There are many interesting small restaurants within walking distance of the hotel in Chinatown. If you are able to get a room high up on the correct side of the hotel you have a very nice view of the harbor. It was a very nice place for us to stay.
