Bringing it back to our roots. This 800 sq/ft home from the 50’s has undergone some serious renovations with you in mind. Located steps from Lake Muskoka, a short drive or canoe trip to the Gravenhurst wharf, and an even shorter drive to town; just the beginning of what this home has to offer. Enjoy walking trails, a near by boat launch with private mooring space, sawdust city brewery, the oar restaurant, Muskoka boat rentals, muskoka wake lessons brought right to the dock, YMCA/Graeme Murray arena, steamship tours, parasailing, local events, and more; All within 3 km of this private end of road cul-de-sac. Enjoy our 2 person infrared sauna and our 6 person hot tub after a long hike, a day on the water, a local triathalon, or a busy day at hockey camp. Request our tent and some toddler bikes for those milestone moments and childhood experiences. We are a 4 season home offering stays year round! Connected to all town services (natural gas, town water and sewer, hydro), and only 2 km away from town, you will not be without the necessaties while still unwinding in a space where you’ll feel unplugged. My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and this definitely didn’t disappoint. It was exactly what we were looking for. Somewhere to have some quiet relaxation with a hot tub. Devon was a great host and her communication was great. We would definitely come back!

Winter vacation
We had a wonderful stay in Sawdust city haus. Location is great for winter sports. We did Fire and ice in Arrowhead provincial park, magical experience. We went to Vetta nordic spa, very relaxing experience. Today we are going to ski in Mt St Louis Moonstone. The cottage is very comfortable, everything what you need. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was a pretty cabin! We spent lots of time out exploring the area, loved the fireworks at the wharf, hiking at Hardy Lake, Wilson Falls and High Falls! The hot tub was wonderful and enjoying that in the snow was the best!!

We had a great stay at the cottage! The host was amazing and so accommodating. The cottage was so cozy and welcoming. Beautifully decorated! Our family had a fun time away and the host was always helpful in suggestions of where to go if needed. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anymore looking for a quiet getaway to Muskoka!

Wonderful Cottage!
We loved our stay at the SawDust City Haus. It was comfortable and great location. The hosts go above and beyond to provide you with all amenities necessary. The sauna was a bonus! They even left toys to keep our littles busy. It was nice and cool with good AC, comfortable beds, very clean, and there were tons of little details from the coffee to the cold beers chillin' in the fridge, which were great after a long day of travel. Communication with the owner was exceptional. The location is so quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to make memories with our friends and families. We will definately be back!
