Best view in 40 years of Homestead Visits
The condo is nice but appears to be in the middle of a remodel. New flooring, which was lovely, but missing trim work in many places. There are no lamps in the living room, only one track light with 3 bulbs, 2 of which were burned out. There is a huge sectional in the living room, which was clean and quite comfortable. There is one very small, too small TV in the living room. There are no side tables. The dining table is very nice but the chairs are very uncomfortable. The kitchen is functional, but needs a good cleaning, new nonstick pans, pot holders, and rubber made containers for leftovers. The shower in the first floor main bath was not working and the drain in the master bath was very slow. We found if you put the water at 1/2 pressure the drain can keep up. The whole condo needed a good vacuum. Someone had a dog with them and there were dog hair tumble weeds and floor spider webs everywhere. Beds are comfortable, but will need replacing soon. By far the best thing about the condo is the view, absolutely stunning. With a little more attention to details both in supplies and cleaning it’s a winner and we will be back.
