"It was good. I was going to an event at the Salt Palace and if you slide in through the parking garage door on 300 S you have a very short walk outdoors, which was helpful in this case because it was raining a lot. Even better if you are at an event in the western part of the building, but at least you can walk inside. Desk staff was very pleasant to deal with. I didn't have housekeeping come in so I can't comment on that but the room was in good shape when I arrived. They have the (small) refrigerator and the microwave hidden behind a door, which was nice because I didn't hear the refrigerator noise at all. I turned off the HVAC unit because it was kind of noisy and I didn't need it in the spring weather. The shower was nice. although the spray was a little weak. The shower head was high enough which it often isn't as I'm tall.
I am going to put in one pet peeve. They had three pump dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Someone who wasn't thinking clearly designed these containers. They are grey, with legible black lettering for the brand, and nearly invisible light green lettering for the product. (light green on grey; really?) It is difficult to see that there is even any lettering, much less read the label to see which is which while you are in the shower, at least for those of us with reading glasses. Fortunately I noticed it before I took a shower, so I knew which was which."
