Wonderful hotel in stunning location
We had a fabulous stay. Service was great and breakfast was amazing. Lots to choose from and good quality food. Room was very comfortable Only slight negative was that breakfast only started at 8.30 where we'd have liked it a bit earlier so could get out in good time for days out

A beautiful, quiet old manor house with lovely gardens & places to sit outside. The food was very good indeed, dinner served in a well-appointed conservatory. The bed was very comfortable. The staff wonderful. Carpet in the bedroom stained, & an awful sliding door between bath & bedroom which was very noisy.

Stayed one night while walking some of the SWCP with my son. Great location for walkers. Characterful building with lovely sea views. Dinner was prompt and delicious. The substantial breakfast was great fuel for the next day's hike. Would happily stay again.

A nice and well maintained hotel, but you feel that it is old. The stairs are narrow and high. For us, as an older couple, it was difficult to board them, especially with luggage

Comfortable, friendly and convenient.
Nice place, nice location. Not particularly easy to access (poor condition narrow road leading to it, but not really anything the hotel can control). Food was reasonably priced and good quality. Nice setting. Decent breakfast.
