Good stay, but the backyard wasn’t even close to the pics that the host posted.
Upon my arrival I immediately went to the backyard to check it out, as my almost-2-year-old grandson would be enjoying that part of the property. I was extremely disappointed by the appearance… full-grown weeds surrounded the entire area, there were dog poop piles on the astroturf, cigarette butts in the fire pit, old, gross-looking cushions for the outdoor furniture strewn about,.. basically the photos that are posted must have been taken a very long time ago, while the yard was in pristine condition. I contacted the host and he offered to send his cleaning crew, but we were only there for 2 days (1.5, in reality, due to late check in and early check out times), so I declined the offer.., it was too late to make that first impression go away. If I could, I would post the photos that I took.
Other than the backyard disappointment, our stay was fine. The rest of the house was clean. Things worked as they should (hopefully the blinking ceiling light will be fixed for the next occupant), and, other than some wall/door damage (probably by dogs), the house is nice.
