Think there’s no room for romance in Sin City? Think again! When planning a couple’s getaway, a destination that should be at the top of your list is Las Vegas. We’ve partnered with Tesa Nicolanti of 2 Wired 2 Tired, as she shares fun and romantic things to do in Las Vegas.

When you think of Las Vegas, the first things that pop into your head are probably the old cliches of flashing lights, high prices, and crowded casinos, but there is much more to Vegas and it can be the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

In fact, it was the location of half of our honeymoon — we flew into Las Vegas and stayed for a few days and then road tripped out to San Diego. As you can guess, Vegas holds a special place in our hearts and we’ve been back a number of times since. If you are looking for romantic things to do in Las Vegas, this list is full of fun and memorable ideas that will have you reliving the trip together for years to come.

LimoinVegas

Get a Limo Stocked with Champagne

Now here’s a way to start a romantic vacation — with Presidential Limo you can skip the 45-minute wait at the airport taxi stands, be greeted by your limo driver, and sip complimentary champagne on your way to the Vegas Strip or downtown hotels. No hassles, just ride, sip, and enjoy each other’s company.

Vegas Balloon Rides

With a name like, Love Is In The Air Ballooning, you couldn’t find a more perfectly romantic way to spend a few hours in Las Vegas. They even offer engagement and wedding balloon flights! Float over the Las Vegas valley in a balloon adorned with hearts and enjoy the beauty of the desert, Red Rock Canyon, and even the Vegas Strip.

Lip Smacking Foodie Tour

The guides will also be sure you see the sites along the way and they share insider information to make your trip even more enjoyable.

AerialViewStrip

Maverick Las Vegas Strip Helicopter Tour

Take the Vegas Nights flight and fly over all of the megaresorts on the Strip and see the New York-New York skyline, the Bellagio fountains, and the Luxor pyramid all from above. Prior to take off you’ll be served champagne, adding a romantic touch to a flight you’ll never forget together.

Alibi, Scavenger Hunt On The Strip

If you are looking for a twist on your typical dinner theater, Alibi, is a memorable and fun way to spend an evening. This is an interactive experience where the audience takes part in an adventure around the restaurants, bars, and other real life locations on The Strip. Included in your ticket price is a full meal at a mystery restaurant. Two additional venues will provide drinks along the way. As the group moves from location to location, you encounter improv actors who offer you clues and puzzles that, when solved, will guide your team to the next location. A fun, unique, and memorable way to spend an evening!

HighRollerLinq

High Roller

The High Roller located at The Linq Las Vegas Promenade, is the world’s tallest observation wheel. At 550 feet, it’s 107 feet taller than the London Eye! Buy tickets, climb into one of the 28 glass enclosed cabins, and enjoy a 30-minute revolution together. You’ll have incredible views of Las Vegas and The Strip. You can ride during the day or at night and they even offer a Happy Half Hour that includes a ride with an open bar.

Couples Massage

Decompress together and relax with the Couples Spa Treatments at Canyon Ranch. They offer a wide variety of side-by-side massages including: Authentic Aromatherapy, Canyon Ranch Massage, Canyon Stone Massage, Couples Retreat, Deep Tissue, Rasul Ceremony, Seasonal Massage, Shiatsu, and more. Any one of these would be a romantic way to spend a few hours together and a great way to surprise your sweetie!

Fountains at the Bellagio

A classic that can’t be missed when visiting Las Vegas, are the Fountains at the Bellagio. The show is spectacular and whether you are walking down The Strip or staying in a hotel room overlooking the fountains, as soon as you hear the music start and see that first rocket of water, it will stop you in your tracks. The fountains are free and a wonderful reminder to slow down and just enjoy the show and your time together.

GondolaRides

Gondola Rides at The Venetian

Another Vegas classic that couldn’t be more romantic are the Gondola Rides at The Venetian. Glide down the Grand Canal together as your singing gondolier floats you under bridges and beside cafes. Escape the hustle and bustle of the casinos on this serene ride and be sure to kiss under each bridge for good luck!

Wedding Chapel

It may be another old Vegas cliche, but when you are on a romantic vacation what better way to top it off than with a wedding? There are many chapels to choose from in Las Vegas, but The Little White Wedding Chapel has been around since 1951 and has married hundreds of thousands of couples. They have five decorated indoor chapels, an outdoor gazebo, and even the world famous Tunnel of Love Drive Thru! Some of the packages also offer a courtesy stretch limousine to pick you up to take you to the chapel and then return you to your hotel after the ceremony. It’s been the location of many famous celebrity weddings including: Michael Jordan, Judy Garland, Mary Tyler Moore, and others. There are a number of packages to choose from including vow renewals and it’s open 365 days a year.

There is so much to see and do in Las Vegas that it can be overwhelming, but these romantic activities will help you enjoy your time together, bring you closer to one another, and help you make memories together to cherish for years to come.
